Greer Archer-Lyall
@Narimé So sorry for the wait! <3
The slender pup had been exploring more frequently as his curiosity grew (along with his body). He was determined to explore as much of the Willows as possible before he was old enough to go further without getting into trouble. The last thing he wanted to do was get his mother angry/upset with him – she was a woman that, even at his young age, Greer knew was not to be messed with.

He had left the comfort of their den in the early morning; there was fresh dew on the ground, a sign that summer was on its way out, which clung to his puppy fur as he ventured away from the pack dens. He dared not look back – his long legs carried him as quickly as they could away from the dens, bringing him closer to the Willows he desperately wanted to explore. Greer spent a lot of time by himself – he seldom engaged in play with his siblings, and preferred to explore the surrounding areas without their company. Of course, the Archer child would always be loyal to them – loyalty was a trait that burned furiously within the Archer wolves – but he would much rather be on his own.

Continuing forward, Greer slowed his pace once he created a suitable distance between himself and his sleeping family. It was then that he began to explore the depths of the Willows with his stubby maw hovering inches above the damp ground. He wasn’t looking for anything in particular, he just wanted to explore. There was so much of Relic Lore he couldn’t wait to see, and once he was old enough he would see it all.

He had wandered further away from the pack territory than he had intended, but he wasn’t ready to turn back just yet. Greer was unable to stop his lanky legs as they drove him forward. Pushing past a low bush the slender pup stumbled forward, his small body plunging downward into a concealed hole. As he pushed himself up from the suddenly cold earth, the shadow prince glanced behind him, confused as to what had caused him to trip. The bush had fallen back over the entrance, once more hiding the hole that Greer had fallen into. There were several rocks (which was what he had tripped over) placed at the entrance, and the ground angled downward into the earth. Perplexed, the child turned his head around to study the hollow tunnel he found himself in.

Deep down Greer knew he should turn around immediately and alert his mother of his findings, but his puppy curiosity had taken over. Hesitantly pushing him into a stand the prince stepped forward, allowing the cool air to engulf him as he walked into the darkness. He would just go a little further and then turn around…
