Falcon
Falcon
the ghosts of cedarwood forest know my name

Gah, somewhat back from hiatus. Sorry for the wait, friend!

The she-wolf watched him with near amusement. At the very least, Falcon maintained her positive mood. The male was so very distracted; it was plain for her to see. But it was nice that he wanted to take responsibility and apologize for his behavior. The tawny female wasn't at all used to that. Dominant wolves that she knew did as they liked while submissive ones followed suit unless they wanted to get bitten.

She'd never liked getting a harsh snap.

Each time the brute's green eyes caught hers, Falcon's tawny gaze danced away. The action lacked fear, however. She was quite used to the game of falling in line as was expected of her, and above all things, the female abhorred disappointing others. "There's nothing to forgive!" she assured brightly. It was his right as the dominant male to do as he pleased whether she liked it or not. At least, that was what she'd been taught. Her brother didn't agree with it at all and it was that very reason that had Jackdaw leading her away. Or at least that's what she gathered. So closed lipped Jackdaw could be when he wanted. Falcon always found it a curious thing since he was so quick to say something. Never really what he meant, though.

"I was the one not paying attention." To her credit, she didn't apologize again for that. Jackdaw had been on her case a lot for that lately. 'You apologize too much! Just shut up and keep your fur brained mouth from spewing incessant apologies!' he would tell her. It was hard to help! Some things were just automatic! Her tail continued to swish over the forest floor to assure him she took no offense from his actions in the least. She was quite used to treatment worse than simple snarls and growls!
