Spectral Woods Tramp Through

Ahh, yes. The silence had been a pleasant thing. She had relished in it for some time, but now, now she wanted to shake things up. She needed some interaction and whatever she came across would be enough. It was hard to say what she sought from the company, but she was certain it would be more entertaining than sitting under the red ferns and twiddling her thumbs. She hadn't been in the area for terribly long, but she had quickly become familiar with the terrain where she had chosen to set up camp. Now it was time to explore more of the South, and it was early in the afternoon that she crossed over into the hazy glow of Spectral Woods.

She moved rather quickly to begin with, keeping to the shadows of the trees and pausing now and then to scent the area. As she became more comfortable with her surroundings, she ventured into what open areas there were. She kept within eye sight of the creek for the most part, venturing out slightly farther when something of interest captured her attention, and as she moved further south the scents of others began to mingle with the other scents of the area.

She was certain that with such a large area to explore she would not fail to keep herself busy. While she had seen these lands from afar, she had never crossed into them until she had left her family behind. And good riddance. They had been nothing more than an annoyance and she had grown bored with them. Certainly here would be new opportunities here to meet other wolves and grow... relationships with them. The future was a blank slate. And she wanted to scribble all over it.
