Cerulean lights wash over the rocks and ledges, dampening them with heedful deliberation. Steam billows from parted jaws, an indication that the feral machine is active beneath the bone moon. Much like a hunter of sorts, his lithe form would take refuge within the shadows of the perilous cordillera, maneuvering through a labyrinth of obstacles with ease. If it weren't for his careful consideration of routes to take, he'd be drained of energy and be faced with a difficult time. However, this mountain held a worthy challenge; it would take every amount of strength to deny its calling.

Underfoot, rocks were disturbed from their everlasting slumber. His wandering paws would alter their position, kicking them aside or allowing them to skid down steep or shallow slopes. Eventually he'd arrive at taller ledges, adorned by boulders and rocks of smaller proportions. It was his own obstacle, seen not as nature's doing. It was treated like the essence of his own life and the challenges he must overcome. These ledges... they held him back from going further. That simply would not do him any favors.

Kir approached and then lowered himself, bones crackling beneath his thick armor of flesh as he did so. A powerful leap resulted in these discreet actions, his taupe form attaining a position upon one of the lowest elevated rocks. It would take more observation to select where he should climb to next. Another leap, then claw marks from where he skidded. And more. And more. A bounding silhouette with cerulean embers glowing in the night, jumping from boulder to ledge. An arcane sight to see.

The process was more exhausting than Kir had expected, and so he would lay against the rocky terrain for several moments. No sleep tonight. Only awakened rest.

Phyrrus Nereus Monodora
Phyrrus had been skirting the edges of Dire, pausing occasionally to catch a misplaced scent on the wind. With no intention on finding the source of the thick scent, she moved on. After her meeting with Triell and Nayeli, she departed and took off to familiarize herself with the east side. It was extremely lonesome to join a pack, she wasn't prepared for the blow and now was pondering when the silence was to end. It was much more social than when she was alone, but still, the expectation of joining was to be with others. She couldn't deny that it was uncomfortable to be the new girl, but she was determined to make allies.

The sound of claws against stone froze Phy in place. A wolf's body hopped warily over crags of rock. Waves of curiosity washed over her. Being alone and unprotected by the pack's territory, she felt anxious and nervous. But, it was worth a try to make an acquaintance. She leapt over a few crevices and stones to get a better look. The wolf was a mix of coffee brown and charcoal dustings. Interest sparked in Phy's eyes, this was an rare color variation. She smiled and said in a silvery voice, "Hello there."

A faint echo settled its chilling breath within the ears of the reposed canid, lost in the vast emptiness that inhabited his mind's imagination. Rest was needed- no, food. Water. An appropriate place to lay his aching body. Much of the following was not considered by him, however. It wasn't seen as important at the time. Awakened, he would turn his charcoal-hued head towards the creature who said the greeting, cerulean eyes gradually narrowing with discontent.

"Ahh, I do not appreciate being roused. I have been travelling for much my time and I do need to rest," he would affirm. Despite a mere display of hostility, his tone was left with nothing but amiable indifference. Kir would allow several moments slip by before coming to a realization. Swiftly, he'd lift himself from the rocky ground, facial features softening into something more thrilled than irritated. Standing several feet away from him... stood a woman.

An enticed gaze would scrutinize the dame, heeding many of her noticeable features. A magnificent sight to behold, and Kir would take much pleasure in trifling with her. "Hm.." A thoughtful hum. He was debating on how to approach this situation, but quickly decided to start at the shallow end. Only once would he exhale, muscles relaxing in their places. "Salutations, love," he'd purr, snaking his way towards her with prudence. He would not go any further until he was most certain she would be alright with it. No matter her reaction, though, he'd still play his little game one way or another.

A last test; he'd simply circle around her lithe form, silken fur brushing against hers with greed. The first canid encountered in these lands, and it was a woman. An alluring one. How fortunate he deemed himself to be.

Phyrrus Nereus Monodora
He was upset. Of course he was, she had woken him. Phyrrus would have ripped off someones ear if they had torn her from sweet rest. But given the circumstances, she didn't care. The presence of another wolf was too much of a temptation to ignore. He rose still shaking off sleep. Phyrrus was considered tall for her age and gender, but he still towered over her. She looked away for a moment but regained a glare after a while. To her surprise, he wasn't bewildered. His expression seemed almost... seducing. She cocked a brow as the husky lad greeted her. He took vigilant steps to her. She knew the game, and was quite well at it. With a appealing smirk she added her piece. "I thought you were tired? Not appreciating being... what was the word? Roused?"

He took lengthy strides to her frame, gliding across her side. She didn't mind, but if things were to get over the top, she would take off. He was reaching her flank and before he got too close, she slapped her soft tail at his chest.
"Too far, I don't even know your name." She chuckled. "I'll start. I'm Phyrrus." She still wanted an ally, and names would be productive right about now. This was not expected from the lone traveler, but it was a sweet surprise.
