Desideria Barreda
Settling down was hard to do. Stilling your paws when you were alone was even harder, neigh, impossible. Desideria lasted a few days near the spring, quenching her thirst and feasting on tiny fish. It was relaxing, rejuvenating, refreshing…it was also horribly, terribly boring. The novelty of fullness wore off quickly, and after hours of restless sleep, the small female set off again. This time, she began to head north. Having come to the forest from warmer, drier places to the south and skirting the pack boundaries upon entering Relic Lore, the thief sought to experience those to the north.

She needed to know her options before she agreed to anything, much less the commitment of actually joining a pack.

Huffing at the thought, her mind wandered briefly to Anders. Damn him and his silver tongue, planting his seeds of doubt in her dark mind. Ears swiveled back and she pressed onwards for hours and hours. The wolf did no stop until she heard again the sound of running of water, and then he turned, seeking out the spring. It was surprisingly peaceful – so much more tranquil than the falls she'd journeyed to before. Padding closer for a drink, Dezzy exhaled a relieved breath as she lapped up for her fill. It was only when she looked up that she realized she was not alone, a pair of growling yellow eyes staring back at her.

The wolf immediately took a step back, and the large male took a step after her. A very large male. If he didn't way as much as the small wolf, he was damn well close. Dezzy's ears were plastered against her skull as she took another step. This was not a fight she wanted.

"Well, shit."
