Piety Santoro
Late evening, February 9th (I'll fix any typos/mistakes when I'm home <3)

She had been good. Staying out of other's way (except for @Skoll when she found him), she made sure not to eat too much, and the woman also was good about not going near the children. Although Piety was curious about the young ones she figured now wouldn't be the time. Since she did just show up.

This evening was no different to her pattern either. Pale colored paws skirted across the willow ridge borders. Half of her hoping to catch Sköll while another half of her was enjoying the time alone. It gave her time to learn the borders without distractions.

Her pale form sliding through the evening shadows. Soon it would be dark and slumber would come knocking at her door. For now though the time was for a short adventure. Somewhere where the willow trees started to space out. Finding solitude underneath one of the trees, her paws stopped in their tracks. Her claws digging into the snow. The sky was beautiful tonight. Her breath was taken away from her lungs as the stars danced and shined. It was like her own personal show.

"Wow.." It was all Piety could manage to say. Looking up between the willow tree branches her dirty eyes admired the night. It certainly was stunning. Hopefully every night was like this. If so, Piety could and would easily get use to being here. It seemed like these lands held good company, good views, and good traveling land. Yes, Piety would very much enjoy being here.

The dark princess had been home for long enough to fill her belly and rest her weary limbs now. Snow blanketing the land and leaving her with no herbs to gather she had busied herself about the borders (after all, it gave her the best chance of sneaking up on Renier and hitting him with her full weight before disappearing amongst the willows again, leaving little but a laugh in her wake). She was hot on his trail for the third time that day when another scent crossed her path, bringing the hair along her spine into savage spikes. She didn’t have a name for the mouthy stranger that dared to stand so close to her brother, but she had every intention of finding out what the other woman’s motives were.

As she drew closer using the shadows to mask her approach, she noticed Skoll’s scent was predominant on her pelt and her nose wrinkled in distaste. For a moment she considered simply running her off. Just another casual stopper, not someone worth their time. It took all her self control to approach at a walk instead of a full blown charge. That wouldn’t be very nice at all now would it?

She didn’t even stop to consider the hypocrisy of her stance. She was a princess, therefore she was right. She was taller than Morganna, heavier too, yet still she managed to appear as though she was looking down the length of her snout at the pale coated interloper. “Who are you?” she questioned, taking extra care to enunciate her vowels (for once) as she was sure her mother would prefer. No doubt old habits would soon take over.

Piety Santoro
@Morganna

Her star gazing was interrupted by a voice. A rather rude blunt voice too. "Who are you?" Spinning on her heels Piety offered a polite smile and a rather small wave of her tail behind.

"I'm Piety Santoro, and you?" Her voice was soft and casual as if talking about the weather. Although the other woman, same age as her, had a high stance Piety saw them to be on the same level. Both yearlings, both stuck underneath the elders, equals. Yet Piety didn't even have a clue who this woman was. Maybe she had seen her briefly before but it wasn't anything to keep the thoughts of the dark yearling lingering in her head. In fact the only wolves that lingered in her head was that @Rook fella and Skoll. Rook had left his paw print in the Saint's mind by causing a crowd of Willow Ridge wolves to show. And Skoll? Well Skoll had left his paw print by simply talking to Piety that day they met. He seemed so casual and caring. A rather charming man to say the least.

Taking a seat into the ground Piety's pale coated rump lightly landed into the snowy ground. She saw no reason to be standing tall and upright. This would be a casual meeting, right? Getting to know each other and simple mingle. Yes, that must be it! Why else would this other yearling come into Piety's space during the night? Letting her tail drape around her paw lightly she awaited the other to speak. Polite manners is the way Piety would act tonight.

Piety. The name was forgotten as soon as it graced her ears. A brow arched as the woman dared to question her back, as if she didn’t know. “I am Morganna Archer, Princess of Willow Ridge.” she retorted, the care she was taking with her pronunciation slowing her speech considerably. Her eyes narrowed as the other wolf sat in her presence, the raised hairs along her back making her look thicker than she really was, and she considered closing the distance between them. In a few short bounds she could knock the other wolf to her back and ensure that she knew her place, but no sooner had the thought crossed her mind than it was chased out by the scent of stinking cat.

What the hell was this? Was their home suddenly the centre of a feline freeway?

Knowing there were younger wolves beneath them, her half siblings no less, the girl growled low. It could easily be mistaken as a threat to the girl in front of her, and perhaps part of it was. Her mind turning over quickly she decided what better way to measure the pale woman’s worth? Maybe @Skoll would even drag himself from the shadows to see for himself, as she was sure he wasn’t far. “C’mon.” she muttered to her companion, heading towards the scent of blood, flesh and threat. “Show me what yer made of.” she challenged with a smirk, picking her pace up to a trot, her head canting to the side to make the most of her sensitive ears.

Part of her hoped the cat would catch her companion unawares.

Piety Santoro

There are darknesses in life and there are lights,
saint & sinner
and you are one of the lights, the light of all lights.

“I am Morganna Archer, Princess of Willow Ridge.”

Well, if this Morganna was an Archer and Princess that surely made her related to Skoll. A small smirk was placed on the Saint's lips. This woman seemed a bit too, what was the word? Uncivilized. Yes that was it. Morganna seemed a bit too uncivilized to be Skoll's sister. Of course Piety assumed maybe Morganna had gotten the snobby trait while her brother got the kind and caring trait. "Nice to meet you Morganna princess of Willow Ridge." Her words balanced on being possibly rude of perhaps genuine. It was certainly hard to tell.

The smell of a kill sight and a smelly cat. At Morganna's growl Piety gave on her own before rising to her paws. Taking the challenge the "princess" gave the Santoro woman followed after. Was this dark coated woman doubting Piety's abilities? While Piety knew she wouldn't be the best fighter she also knew she certainly wasn't the worst either. Although the snow wolf was made more for bark then bite she knew more than enough to defend herself and others.

As the two ladies approached the scene the smell would certainly grow worst. While the cat hadn't came into sight yet the scent was more than enough to give off that it was too close to Willow Ridge for anyone's comfort. Piety knew there was younger children in the pack and having some stupid feline around wasn't a smart idea. The cat would need to be chased off and given some sort of sign that it shouldn't ever return back to the Willows. Not if it wanted to live of course.

If this happened to be related to the same cat Morganna and @“Enoki” had tangled with, it certainly was a foolish beast to be sure. As if anticipating the wolves arrival however it fled into the underbrush as they rounded on the kill that stank of feline piss and shit. Her nose wrinkled in disgust and she dragged her paws through the soil to kick dirt onto the carcass. She sneezed to clear some of filth that had been burned into her nostrils and back of her throat as she moved downwind of the kill site, casting about for any sign of the vermin that had dared to stray too close yet again.

“Mongrel fuckin’ cat.” she muttered, just loud enough for Piety to hear. “Enoki helped me deal with one a few weeks back, haven’t seen so many about before.” It was concerning. With spring looming on the horizon, there would be more to worry about than almost yearlings stumbling across a cat protecting its kill. She finally spotted tracks in the snow, too light to belong to a wolf, a tuft of fur snagged on a branch in the underbrush. She moved on, not bothering to check and see if the white yearling was following. It was headed away from the heart of their territory, but she still wanted to make sure it knew to not come back this way again.
