Inkheart
Inkheart was having a rough time finding a place to live again now that his little den have caved in while he was out. He was without a place and thus decided to search through every territory for a decent spot to lay his head down for the upcoming night. It was just nearing dusk and he had yet to find anywhere of satisfaction until he found the nice little abode just west of a beautiful orchard tree. It was large (like ridiculously large) and sported a few holes in the top where the light shown through and opened up the den into a lit up cavern of sorts. It would have to do and with the extra space he could sprawl out and rest his long legs.
Of course, he needed to go fetch dinner first but he had already planned ahead. Through his long journey of finding a place to sleep he had come across two rabbits that had been slow to the chase. One was small while the other larger so it would prove to be a decent dinner for one. Inkheart began to escort the two rabbit corpses back to his den; holding one by the stomach and the other by its foot clearly just wanting to get these things back home so that he could catch an early night.

Vela Ezio

The wanderer kept on wandering. There was nothing else for her around here besides for that. She knew no one, couldn't call anyone her friend, and was well alone. So she moved from place to place. Moved from sleeping place to sleeping place, her curiosity of the new lands not letting her stay to long in one area. Though that curiosity was starting to dwindle and her heart searched for a place to call home. A safe haven where she could sit without a worry and enjoy whatever was happening.

The black wolf moved through the territories little by little scanning every area she passed. Until a scant of blood and wolf entered her nose. She stopped and inhaled once more, the tangy smell of fresh kill made her nose wrinkle and ears twitch lightly. She turned her body and followed behind the scent until their paths basically crossed. She saw the black body a few feet to the left of her and slowed her trot down slightly. "Hello?" She said softly somewhat scared of this new wolf now.

Inkheart
Although he was the one that had chosen a nomadic lifestyle, it still regretted the idea of being alone all the time. It hurt him more than he let himself realize but as time drew on he felt like he was missing an important part of life and that he would always be second-best. He was always the runner up or the least important role thus he assumed that he could never measure up to those that always attained the spotlight. Being a loner was what made him Inkheart—he did not want to be the second best to anyone but instead seen as something more special. A guy like Amelie had somehow seen instead of the heartless, devious soul that he appeared to be on more than one occasion.
It was a call, a sweet and soft voice, which made the foot-dangling rabbit drop from his jaw as he looked around. He had expected no one and for the voice to be his imagination but instead his eyes caught onto a dark creature much like himself but with dainty white paws—how curious. Swallowing his saliva he bent his head down to drop the left over rabbit and turned to face his company. “Hey there,” he said with a charming smile, a few waves of his tail with his ears pinned forward.
