Nari's headed to Drooping Willows to figure out what going on
For @Celandine

She was confused, angry, and was pretty she she could add pregnant on top of it. The mixture could be lethal to whoever was on her bad side. Nari could only hope she wouldn't run into any of her old friends and pack mates who had disappeared form the pack without word. She was actually hoping to run into @Silver or @Inali right now cause their flea bitten pelts would certainly help to take out her boiling mad anger on. However, not wolf nor prey item crossed her path as Nari made her way towards the southern end of drooping willows. She was headed for the southwestern borders of willow ridge to speak to Elettra and Angier about the scents she found on her territory. She wanted to know if they had issued the challenge or if they were having similar confusing problems with some puffed up stranger.

If by chance they did fess up to challenging her Nari would be confused, angry, and torn apart by this. She wouldn't know what to do with herself. Elettra had been her everything, and to lose her friendship would tear a wide hole in the gray wolf's mind and heart. She likely wouldn't be the same afterward.

If something else happened, say they weren't having the same problems with a trespasser like she was, but they also denied traipsing across her territory, Nari would only ask them to be more careful and howl whenever they visited. She would still suspect Angier, but would trust the words of Elettra should she speak for him.

It would all be up to the willow wolves whether their encounter would be a good one or not. Up to those wolves and their answers.

Narime lopes towards her goal still swamped by thoughts of fighting, future pups, and past family members. She barely notices the scents around her as the disgusting stale fog still hung heavy in the air. When would this stuff clear up? Or would it be there forever? Either way, Nari had worse things to worry about.

Celandine Argyris

Thick on the air, a heavy fog laced the air. It's putrid scent clinging to the tendrils of her fur, and spreading as far as she could see in every direction. Somehow she had fallen asleep outside of Silent Moon Plateau's borders the night before, although she couldn't remember where. That was before the fog rolled in with it's sense-binding fury, sweeping away her vision, and voiding the abilities of her olfactory nerves. Limited by an opaque white, her eyes were good for a tail-length or two, but that was no good. She needed to see the mountain's silhouette, standing tall and proud against the backdrop. The treacherous heights reaching high into the sky were a sign of home, a sign that now seemed to be missing. She longed for the comforting flat of the plateau, her father's aroma, her den, anything. It felt like she had been walking for days, but without the sun or the moon to guide her Celandine had no way of knowing just how long.

A whine escaped her maw, low and pathetic as she feared she might never find her way out. What if she just... wandered, forever, blinded by the mist, in a constant state of fear, and hunger. If the fog could just clear up a little bit, she would look around, and find her landmarks. Three seconds, that's all she needed. Three measly little seconds to get her bearings, but the Lore had something else in store for her. 'What? What do you want from me?' Another whine left her, calling out into the unknown.

The gray she wolf blended into the surroundings perfectly. The unhealthy mists swirling about helped to disguise her lithe form from onlookers, but it also kept Nari from seeing anybody else around herself. The smell of the thick air kept her from noticing the scents from out in front of the woman. So she was far more tense than she should have been. Her paws flicked over the ground eating up the earth as she moves forward lightly. It wasn't long until Nari practically ran into another wolf. Her first reaction was to slow down and back up despite the snarl that crept up onto her face. Then her hackles raised along with her head and tail as Narime scented at the air. The white stranger smelled of Phineas and his pack which almost immediately made Nari force her snarl flat. With her daggers concealed Nari prances to the side then pauses to look at the stranger.

She had not been expecting to run into one of the Argyris male's pack mates out here close to the Willow wolves territory. At first glance Narime had thought it was Phineas himself, but upon closer inspection she could distinctly smell the feminine odor of a female underneath the pack musk that also held Phineas's scent. A young woman? She looks like she could be his... Narime lets her tail fall lower into a neutral zone while her head remains looking downwards at the young woman. The silver wolf was on a mission so to speak, but with Willow Ridge being so close she knew that a short pit stop wasn't going to change anything. Or so she thinks while Maksim cuts through the fog and passes them before starting to set up Whisper Caverns scent on Willow Ridge territory.

Not knowing that her pack was quite possibly about to become a target, Narime eased herself into a relaxed looking composition. She blinked at Celandine before clearing her throat.

"What brings a pack mate of Phineas Argyris all the way out here?" Narime asks curiously while she wondered silently as to how long this meeting would take.

Celandine Argyris

Bright eyes were worthless in the mist, catching little more than the swirling of shadows haunting her every step. The specters made the lost princess' skin crawl, but the fear was nothing compared to the aching in her stomach. It tossed, and turned, feeling impossibly empty. Her limbs shook with the pain of it all, begging for a measly bite of anything. Somewhere in the fog, she locked on to something slightly more solid than the background. It's edges were blurry, constantly shifting as if it were purposefully hiding it's shape. Food. Instinct took over, forcing her mind to dull and block out anything unnecessary to the kill. The creature would die, and then maybe her hunger would be sated.

Every sensation was heightened; the feel of mushy soil beneath leathery pads, the horrible scent of the Lore slashing at her nostrils. Squinting through the mist, the Argyris girl watched it play into her paws, unaware of the predator hiding only tail lengths away. It didn't occur to her that something was wrong, until the creature solidified entirely, almost barreling straight into her. A wolf, silver in color. She was older than Celandine, but that hardly mattered. Her mind was too dim, controlled by the insatiable hunger. Looking up at the woman, through barely-aware lidded eyes, she planned to strike. It was unthinkable, awful even, but she couldn't stop. Somewhere, deep within the confines of her head, a princess was screaming. It was wrong.

Phineas Argyris" How did she know that name? When the realization dawned on her, pulling the youth away from her hunger long enough to realize what she had been about to do, the girl backed away. Shame read clear on her features, as she spoke. "My father.." Starvation still clouded her mind, as she made an attempt to recall what she was doing there... and where there was. "I don't remember..." Amber eyes looked up to the woman, pleading. She was lost, and scared.
