RE: Silent Moon Plateau, a band of coyotes has been scented within your pack borders.
@Phineas @Tannis @Erebos @Aesire Perhaps no posting order but be kind and courteous with when you post! <3

Many days had been spent talking with Aesire or watching the children as she took care of business briefly. Her leg had healed up nicely from the fight with the cowardly pack wolf up north. While some days it was more sore than others she was quickly back at her normal moving. Her life had fallen into deep conversations with the female lead and rounding the borders. Today was more of a rounding the borders day. Of course something seemed it. Maybe it was the extra sun or the way her fur moved in the breeze. Something had her on edge.

There it was. Upon the northern borders the smell of coyote was thick. Not was it just on the borders though, it was in the borders. Growling she lifted her head alerting a call to all of the pack. Coyotes were near and the children needed to stay safe. Setting off in the direction she heard the chatter of the coyotes. Surely they had been alerted by her howl but they didn't seem too keen on leaving yet. Five red hued coats lingered near a smaller cache. Luckily Vitani near that cache wouldn't be enough for them, but she also knew that meant the band might try to move deeper into the lands of Silent Moon. Lowering softly to the ground she got ready to leap upon the damn coyotes. Even if no one was here to support her she was going to take action. Nothing was holding her back.

Launching off she knew that if her leg hadn't been injured it would have gone so much better. Still distracting the coyotes they all made rather annoying sounds. Opening her jaws wilding she growled and barked at all of them. Of course things wouldn't go well right? In the life of the pale woman nothing truly went right. Coming up from behind her an angry coyote took a nip at her hind. A yip was given before spinning around and snapping her jaws. These ones were rather nasty..perhaps the mountain has roughed them up.

Nios Tainn

Nios had been loping along the western aspects of the foothills, his amber eyes grazing the landscape for the potential of a meal. It was rare he plucked away at the caches – his time at the Plateau was still uncertain, and he did not wish to take resources from a pack that held two litters – the idea of it all was ludicrous in the eyes of the ebony wolf.. but perhaps he was more traditional than the wolves who resides here. A call sounded though, pulling him from his reverie. While he did not recognize the voice, this was of no consequence to him – Nios was only acquainted with the king, Phineas, after all.

His ebony limbs prowled forward, his pace quickening as he made his way to the direction of the call. Along the borders, the scent of trouble was becoming quite apparent the closer he got, and the swarthy Tainn arrived just in time to see a white she-wolf jump toward the group.

His eyes skimmed over the current situation. Five coyotes, all quite interested in their caches. His lips pulled back as a snarl escaped his throat – his gaze narrowing before he pivoted to the side, his own jaws snapping to the rump of one of the coyotes as he made to begin quite a chase. Of course, two wolves versus five coyotes was still not great odds, and as his eyes quickly flashed to his current comrade, he could only hope she could hold her own.
