Castiel Archer Lyall
@Angier and (maybe?) @Elettra

He was back. Back in the Drooping Willows where he was born. It had been far too long, and for what? To search for Dea who could certainly look after himself? He should have known better than to just leave and hope he would be back within the week. When in fact he had gotten lost and turned around in the unfamiliar territory. For three months he had wandered around, trying to find a place or landmark that he recognized which would then lead him back to Willow Ridge. The only good thing about his disappearance is that he had learned how to forage on his own... mostly. There had been days when he went hungry after being too slow to catch a morsel, but for the most part he had survived pretty well. Now he knew that all he wanted was to be back home with his family. Adventuring had been fun, but it just wasn't for him. At least not now. He'd ask himself again when he became a full adult.

Pausing at the Willow Ridge pack border, Cas let his gaze wander over the familiar territory. He felt a pang of happiness in his heart at being home, but it was quickly quenched with worry. Would they take him back after he had been gone so long? Even Dea, though he as younger then, hadn't been gone as long as he had. Had they given up looking for him and accepted the fate that he could possibly be dead? Ears splaying back, the Agouti Yearling angled his head back and lifted his muzzle up into the air, a call for Angier and Elettra rising from his maw. When his howl trailed off Cas lowered his head so it hang at shoulder height, almost afraid for one of his parents to show up. The thought of quickly darting away crossed his mind, but he firmly planted his paws into the ground. No, he would await his verdict, if only to see them one more time.

Ele cannot be here, but she wants him to know she loves him!

The sounds of her son's voice, echoing over the territory of Willow Ridge had been one of the most pleasant things she had heard in some time, savor the comfort of Angier saying he was there for her and the mewing of her newborn pups. It had been just two days since her children were born and more of their time had been to sleeping which is what they were doing now after a long, heavy meal from their mother. Elettra sat just at the opening of the pack den whilst her children slumbered in the hole rested within that made up the Nursery. She would not leave them, would not wonder far enough where she could not hear their delicate cries. At the den she did what she could to keep up with pack business, though most belonged to @Angier and @Morganna now along with Angier's second, @Renier, who was not only his nephew, but perhaps to be her daughter's mate. It was as though the pair was a younger generation of themselves. Under them, was Elettra's sister and brother, matched even in rank and Elettra would have it no other way. It pained her now not to rush to her son at the border's of her pack and she wiggled eagerly in her placement. Her head rose, calling out to her son, calling out to him in happiness that not only he had arrived, but telling him that his younger siblings had as well.

I am so sorry, I would have replied to this much sooner but I hadn't noticed the alert :((

There was new blood among the Ridge ranks and the Archer line – his mother had given birth to three healthy pups. Excitement had filled the pack; it seemed as though puppies put everyone in a good mood. Greer couldn’t help but wonder if the pack had been just as excited when he and his brothers had been born. The little smudge could remember how the Ridge wolves would coddle him and his brother, cooing affectionate words at them and engaging them in play when they were bored. From a very young age, Greer had realized his preference to being alone. It was not because he disliked his family or the members of his pack; he just liked doing things on his own. Perhaps it was because he lacked the desire for rough-housing… instead, the smudge was often found lurking in the shadows and perfecting his stalking abilities. He had also spent a lot of time practicing his sprinting – he wanted to be the fastest wolf that Willow Ridge had ever seen.

As he paced through the drooping willows, a familiar voice had called through the trees – one that he had not heard in quite some time. Excitement bubbled inside of him as his direction changed and his speed increased, his long legs carrying him quickly to the edge of pack territory. The third brother, the one who had vanished without a word, had returned to them. His tail wagged excitedly behind him as he leapt over branches that littered the area, his silver eyes searching for the familiar agouti shape that he had shared so many nights curled up next to. He could hear his mother call out to her son, voicing her happiness at his arrival and stating that she would not be able to meet him at the borders.

“Cas,” he called out as he approached his brother, his slender body slithering up to break the distance between them as a soft smile appeared on his dark lips. “Where go?” He asked curiously, his head cocked to one side as he studied his weary brother. Had he come across Deacon in his travels?
