@Octavius  finally, its up! I'm watching Titanic and that line popped up XD
RE:  There are an unusual number of foxes being sighted around Relic Lore.

The young Thanne had been missing from Whisper Caverns for quite some time. It had been perhaps three months or more and yet the dove had little intention of returning back home, not yet anyway and not now. Getting lost in the blizzard had frightened the young babe, but it had also given her the opportunity to live exactly as her parents had after their departure those many months back. Leaving behind the Caverns did not mean that she had not thought of @Ash daily, she worried constantly over his well-being, and knew that she had been the only wolf he had left in the Caverns to care for. He had done everything in his power to protect and love her, even shielding her from her mother and yet she had done exactly as Athena had by disappearing without a word to him, and this time around it seemed like forever. She bore a thin frame and patchy coat, the lively color of her yellow eyes seemed sunken in their sockets as she traveled alone over the Stonewatch Timber mountain range, having left behind @Vaeta and @Nios nearly a month ago. She was fending for herself, rather poorly, and yet she had never felt more brave before in her life.

A few paces forward brought the stench of pack to her nostrils and she was careful to avoid them as best she could, a wandering loner could easily died from scavenging off the land of a well established pack and the ivory girl wanted to live long enough to see her father one more time. Her stride paused only when she heard the tumble of a medium sized rock, it slid easily down the mountain side and stopped only when a patch of thick grass stood in its path. She ducked, half expecting a creature of her equal size to glare at her, questioning her existence, but nothing stood to stare back at her and she released a sigh of relief knowing that she had gone undetected up the side of the mountain. It wouldn't be long before her scent would travel up the side of the mountain to where the pack stood to guard its treasures and she was ever the more careful to ensure that she kept downwind for fear of becoming a captive in their ranks. It didn't take long though, perhaps a few moments of silent contemplation before the Thanne woman caught the trail of fleeing rabbit and followed it in hopes of trying her hand at hunting. She desperately needed the nutrients and was certain that what ever lay before her could sustain her for at least a few more days or more.

The Lord’s gonna come for your first born son

The stench of foxes was strong around the border. Did they know there were precious cubs just up the hill a few miles? The golden boy felt for certain there must, since in the weeks since the birth of Minka's pups the sour odors clung to the trees that were constantly being remarked by the wolves on patrol. It seemed everyone was slightly on edge during this time. The pups were precious cargo, very vulnerable at this age when they were the size of little rabbits. Gus hadn't seen them — he was hardly special or important enough, given his interloper status. He wasn't even sure how many there were or what their names were. Quite frankly he wasn't even truly sure if they were rabbit-sized, he'd just imagined that they must be. They could still be the size of frogs for all he was certain. It wasn't that Gus wasn't interested. He longed to know more about them: what their names were, which ones were boys and which ones were girls, and when they would be ready to play with him. But he felt like such a bother asking the other wolves and was afraid his curiosity would be met with suspicion. He didn't even linger near Minka's den.

Basically, he just hoped one would appear out of the ether in front of him before long.

And though it was not a cub, Gus' next inhale brought the scent of stranger towards him. Some loner. They were awful close but it appeared that they had veered away from the pack lands at some point and were now following the trail of some prey, though it was hard to discern this underneath the assault of foxes. Concern tugged at his paws as he followed the trail for no reason he could name, although as he continued he noted the scent of fox grew overwhelmingly strong in the same way the girl's did. What if it was following her, mad with hunger, waiting to catch her unawares? He caught a glimpse of her passing through the trees. She was dirty, but looked like her fur might have been pale had her circumstances been different. She looked young, maybe his age. He couldn't see the fox.

"Hey!" He shouted abruptly, loud enough to scare off any prey.
