Maeve Destine Caravello
@Celandine @Wren and possibly @Aesire @Vitani or anyone else if circumstances allow it.
Aes, I just sort of assumed that perhaps Maeve saw Cella in the distance at some point in the past and tried to approach her, but momma stopped her. Hope that's okay, if not I'll change it! :)

Against all common sense, Maeve decided it best to escape the comforts of her den and explore the territory once more. There was still so much for her tiny body to discover, so many faces left unseen! The greyscale'd pup let her pudgy paws lead the way, eager to meet anyone who dared cross her path. "Sowwy age-en mumma, gun hafta' make lotsa fwends tuh-day!" She snickered, creeping across the plateau with elegance.

There was one particular wolf she was just yearning to meet, a pallid coated wolf who's name she couldn't dare pronounce without butchering. Another wolf placed on her mothers banned list. Maeve had heard people refer to this specimen as a princess, and honestly that piqued her curiosity a bit. She'd love to meet a princess, who wouldn't at her young, impressionable age? "Bet she's weally pwetty and nice.." she sighed in admiration. Yes, to meet royalty would be a dream come true, but just how would she go about finding the wolf? "Mmmm..." concentrated, the smoky pup ventured on aimlessly.

"Cee-wen-dye!" Maeve cried, hoping the female would appease her calls. "Cee... Cee-wen-dye!!" She was desperate, fate just absolutely had to bring the two together somehow. She would of asked her mother how to find the yearling, though she assumed that would be giving her too much information, thus complicating the process. The Destine-Caravello was determined, no matter what her mother had said. What did she know anyway? After all, Kyna ended up being quite kind! "Ceeweenndileee!!!" screeching now, the pup was beginning to grow impatient.

Wren

Wren Destine-Caravello was definitely not a scaredy-wolf, but he had decided to heed Tannis’ words, figuring that the man had a lot more experience than he did. But, when he heard Maeve rustle about and apologize to their mother, he knew she was sneaking out. As her brother and guardian, Wren was intent on following her to make sure she stayed safe. His multicolor coat ruffled slightly. “Maeve, where you going?” He asked out of concern as he watched his sister move towards a wolf he had never seen before.  “Maeve, you will wake mother.” He warned, not wanting to deal with that beast should it wake up. What would he do if they woke Aunt Vitani in the process? Both his mom and his newly proclaimed aunt were fiercely protective.

The young boy listened as he called out an unfamiliar name. It wasn’t entirely unfamiliar, because he remembered his mother telling him something about the name before. Celandine Argyris? Was that it? The boy prided himself with the knowledge he was able to retain, even if it was the occasional name. He would gulp. She was the princess of the Plateau! Oh, would she be mad by his sister’s interference with her daily business? His momma had told him all of the adults were very busy, so why was Maeve stirring up trouble? He was determined to stand by her now, acting as a guard even if he could barely keep up with her and didn’t know the first thing about fighting.

Celandine Argyris

Celandine was positive that she had eaten more lavender than food as of late, but the sickly sweet plants were helping. They had to be. She could see it in the few stolen moments of blissful darkness between nightmares, and the small bit of food that actually stayed down rather than being retched back up. Her mind was even a little less cloudy... though that sign was less apparent. Unfortunately there was much, and more that the purple flowers did not help, but those symptoms were a concern for another day. Mahle had become her sole confidant over the last few weeks, though the yearling would hardly call them friends. If anything, their relationship was merely held together by debts, and fear. Neither of which, were worth denying.

She was on her way to the medicine den when she heard it. A horrific noise, akin to nails on a chalkboard. "Cee-wen-dye" Amber eyes, which had seemed hollow for far too long, widened, as the Argyris girl froze. There was no mistaking that disgusting voice. The youth had spent more than one night listening to it mewl, except for this time, it was calling for her specifically. How the hell had it learned her name? Paranoia crept up her spine, grasping at straws to form quite the little plot. The only way that the cubs could know who she was, would be if Aesire had named her in front of them. Why would the alpha speak of the princess if not for some type of devious plot to steal the crown?

Her her hair stood on end, as the small beast tried again. Fear, anger, panic. She flew through emotions on a whim. Where was Mahle? She had to get there. The lavender would help. It always helped, but the medicine den was farther than the cubs. A pale lip curled to expose still-white teeth, though it would suit one to remember that the pristine set of canines she flashed were not solely a mark of youth, but danger as well.

And again, came the butchered name, from the sickening creatures mouth. Snarling, the princess turned toward the sound, stalking as if the cub were prey. She would show them who she was, what they were dealing with. She had to leave a lasting impression. Celandine came upon the scene with her plume-like tail curled high into the air. They would remember her exactly as she was now; proud, fierce,  intimidating. It was her throne they were vying for, after all.

The creatures were much smaller than she had imagined, their features less deformed. For all intents, and purposes, they looked normal, but she knew the truth. They were demons, but at the size, it would have been too easy to pluck one of the delicate flowers up between her jaws, and bite down. It could be over in an instant. She could have done it, she wanted to, but the yearling didn't move. Her presence would have to be enough, for now.

Maeve Destine Caravello

Maeve was well aware that her brother had been following her, but couldn't possibly care less. Wren wasn't what was important under these circumstances, the Princess was! Surely he'd try to step in and intervene at some point, though that didn't necessarily mean the little grey pup had to listen! Meeting royalty would be a high blessing for the female, one she'd cherish forever. Whether he was keen to it or not. "Wen, don' try to stahp me, jus' make sure ya' stay back!" she growled. Surely he'd know what was best for him and keep his distance.

When Celandine had finally decided to reveal herself, the tiny pup was filled with glee. "Cewundiee!!!" She yipped, tail wagging. Curiosity led the pup to first check out Celandine's scent, and she was pleased to discover the female actually smelt quite lovely! Much like she had imagined a princess to smell as a matter of fact! "Yew smell like flowers!!" she grinned. Maeve wasn't quite able to distinguish emotions in other wolves to their fullest yet, though she had been able to detect that the princess was seemingly unhappy. What could possibly be the matter? Was the snowy heiress nervous, or perhaps she felt ill? "Wuz wong?" She crept uneasily up to the elder, hoping there'd be something she could do to help. "Do ya got a tummy ache?"

The Destine-Caravello was horribly worried, and looked to her brother for answers. "Wen, help her!" she frowned. Maeve hadn't really found herself carrying an abundance of knowledge, but her kin always seemed to know what to do in tight spots! Surely this occasion wouldn't be any different!
