Erebos Argyris
@Vitani sorry for the boring start but ere doesn't really do much xD;

Another emblematic sunrise had the Argyris brother up and about, rising early so as to better monopolize on the day. How odd it was to be proactive, to be driven. How typical of Erebos it was to have to of hit rock bottom to realize that such things were worth the effort.

He was certainly a different man, suiting the refreshing relocation of his sibling's pack. Before, the familiar had bored him and the new had tired him. Now his home was a perfect mixture of both, the known comforting him and solidifying his resolve while the change strengthened and tested him. For once, he was passing with flying colors, and this simply fact alone provided enough elation to keep him marching on.

The last couple of days, Erebos had finally felt ready to take on a few patrols here and there. While he was unlikely to be any good in a physical altercation, he certainly had the booming voice and towering figure to scare off any would-be trespassers. He walked the irregular ellipse, rubbing his scent here and there to strengthen their invisible security fence and deter any competitive threats from entering Phineas' domain. As he walked, his mind drifted from here to there, touching on a variety of subjects from the dawning day's weather to his steadily growing hunger to those who dwelled within the boundaries he was marking; the strangers who he'd yet to determine were enemies or allies to him.

She didn't walk like the proud viper she was. Instead her walking looked more like a shamed house pet. Keeping low and out of sight of any threats. Making sure to play fair until she would be able to pick some fights. Hopefully only a few more days and she could be back on her way to being the Queen of All.

Seeing a bird making circles above her she growled and barked out. "Shoo! Go on you bastard!" Grumbling she picked up her pace towards the borders. The bird lingering around, just to taunt her Vitani would swear, before giving a loud cry and taking off elsewhere. "Good, go find someone who has time for you." Angry harsh tones of the viper woman she was. Shuffling towards the border she saw another wolf in the distance. Without thinking her tail shot out behind her, and pulling herself together, she set off towards him. "What do you think you're doing?" Tucking her head low she stopped a good wolf length away from him. He smelt of the Plateau but that didn't make him a friend. Not yet at least.

"What's your name?" She wasted no time playing games like most. The pale woman wanted to know and wanted to know now. Hopefully her 'company' would be reasonable with her demands. At least the demands she was making were simple ones. Not like the way she demanded things from her pack woman she fought so harsh. The damn pack woman should have moved out of the way and nothing would have ever happened.

Erebos Argyris
Just because they were in his mind, however, did not mean that he was prepared to meet with them. Yet here one was, a snow-covered vixen whose raucous voice did not match her appearance and gave him quite the hint as to whether or not he wanted to converse with her. Erebos was a disgruntled man by nature, unwanting of other's company and grumpy on any good day. To meet someone of similar mold only bolstered these negatives in his personality, drawing out the ugly in him.

A scowl had taken up residence upon his muzzle, and only deepened as she addressed him. Rudely, as though she had any authority over him at all. Erebos wasn't aware of the female rankings beyond Aesire and Aponi, the whores that had meddled with his widower brother, but if didn't respect the supposed queen of the land he certainly wasn't about to give a shit where this woman rested on the totem pole in comparison to himself.

"Nunna yer damn business," he swiftly answered, not faltering a single step. The man continued about his business totally, the only acknowledgement of her presence being his voice reaching out to her. "'less ya wanna tell me who the hell're you ta be barkin' so loudly."

Vitani Lieris

The grey hued man's answer was swift and sharp. She wasn't used to such suddenness from others but when she got it she appreciated it. Especially when a rather distasteful attitude was involved. ”I like your attitude.” The pale Lieris stifled out a small chuckle. ”Vitani.” One word introduction like any good woman should give. Short and to the point.

With tail still sharp out behind her pale body the woman lifted her head. Icy eyes grooming the body of the older man. His body was certainly still in a well condition. He was taller, darker, and a bit more heavier than herself. Before she knew it the pale creature found herself simply entangled in his looks. Maybe it was his personality that struck a fire deep down in her dark heart. Yet she knew better than to let these feelings burn inside. Quickly she found the true her. A rude, dominate, bitch. Licking her inky lips her eyes narrowed. No longer just inspecting him. She was judging him down to his very core. While she did not know his true intentions within the Plateau she was determined to find them out. Just like every other mutt here.

”I deserve a name now. Fair is fair." Truth be told she was never one for fairness. Instead she took what she wanted without second thoughts. But she need everyone in her oh-so humble abode to think she was a woman of fair intention. Until she could truly hold her own and become what she wanted fairness would be her game..

Her response was absolutely not what he'd expected. His head swiftly turned to face her, though his legs did not pause their striding, eyes still narrowed but with a sheen of something different within them. Not a single soul alive enjoyed his sour personality and rough barking, much less vocally said so. It wasn't just uncommon, it didn't make sense. Clearly puzzled, the man was much more inclined to listen to what more the woman might have to say, just in case it actually proved interesting.

Her eyes swept over him, the woman once more claiming an authority over him that he did not want to relent to. Yet it wasn't until she spoke once more that he raised his own voice.

"Y'don't deserve a thing until I say y'do," he answered, paws finally drawing to a stop as a smirk began to worm its way onto his lips. If she wanted to play games of owning one another he'd just keep throwing the ball back into her court. "and fair is a fool's invention. Doesn't actually hold water in real life."

It was all very true, especially to Erebos, who had not only known his own share of hard times but inflicted them upon others. Fair didn't exist, no matter how badly wolves tried to create balance for themselves. Good always succumbed to evil.

"Erebos."

This male was smarter than she had though him to be. He seemed to know well enough that fair wasn't real anywhere. As much as others wanted to preach about it and use it like it was some sort of "get out of jail free card" this grey man had spoken what fair was. Fair was a fool's invention. Maybe just maybe, with such smartly spoke words the pale Lieris could find it in her to like this male the slightest bit. Perhaps even throw in a dash of respect.

Next she had been given a name, just like she deserved. With a velvet tone she let his name roll off of her tongue, "Erebos." Smirking slightly her tail flicked behind her while she dared to step closer. "What a noble name to have." The name made her wonder where exactly this male hailed from. While it was possible that he could have lived in these lands all his life, she wanted to doubt it. He seemed travel worn and the pale woman liked to think he'd be running things around here if he had been around from birth.

With careful teal eyes she looked around the area briefly. Making sure not to let his guard down around the grey male Erebos just yet. "Assuming we haven't gotten off on the wrong paw just yet...you wouldn't mind me sticking around with you for a little would you?" A small smile tugging at the corners of her inky lips. If she could find a way to wrap this male around her claw she might be successful in whatever she needed; or if she could even snag him as a close ally.

Noble? Hah! Erebos couldn't help but scoff as the comment was made. That was perhaps the last word anyone who knew of the man would choose to describe him with. Perhaps he had fought his way back toward loyal and determined, but even the those two terms were questionable as they had not yet been truly tested. Sure, he'd done his best to stand his ground against Datura, but their hadn't truly been any danger present. Who was to know that once things turned grave, Erebos wouldn't just turn tail as he always did? Even he admittedly doubted himself just a bit. After all, what creature could truly resist its nature? He certainly hadn't met any.

"Yeah," he muttered, "Goes to show one shouldn' name their whelps 'fore they see their true colors."

She wanted to stay? He truly didn't know what she was finding so pleasant in their little conversation thus far, but he supposed if she was willing to put up with his crotchety personality then she ought to stick around as she pleased. Still, Erebos measured her over with his ember eyes a moment longer, as though considering the offer thoroughly, deciding if he really did want her company or not.

"Is it possible to get on yer wrong paw?" he asked her, but moved ahead all the same, fully expectant that she would follow him. It couldn't be said that he'd tried his damndest to give her a horrid first impression of himself, but still he figured this woman might be a hard one to shake with just a bad temper.

"Guess a day spent makin' a pretty lady happy wouldn' be one completely wasted."

She couldn't help but force down a small smirk. "Well then I could only imagine the name that I would have been given." It was the truth. Her name would have likely been something sour and rude, like the woman she truly was. Perhaps she wouldn't have even been named out of her parents fear of having to find a name that fitted her.

The comment about being able to get off on her wrong paw should have been met with perhaps a scare tactic but instead she nodded softly. "It has been done before, Erebos." Her voice fell rather soft thinking about all the wolves that she had pissed off and the ones that have pissed her off in return. Of course yanking herself from the current of her thoughts the pale Lieris trotted off to follow after her company. Whether he liked to see it or not, Vitani certainly saw him to be a knightly breed. Perhaps it was the colors in her pelt that wanted to believe there was more than that sour personality or maybe those orange eyes. Yet her judgement had been wrong in other places. She knew very well that looks were not everything to a wolf. In fact @Erebos could simply be all bad attitude (which would make him a harder friend to make on the Lieris' part).

"I'm flattered." The pale fluffy tail gave a small dance behind her. She would have hated to admit it but ever compliment sent her ego a little bit higher. "And spending a day with a handsome fellow isn't one wasted either." She chuckled softly before looking down the path they were walking. Trailing next to his side but a little bit behind him, she left it up to him as to where they would go to. Hopefully he'd have something active and entertaining in mind.

@Vitani
Feel free to fade with your post!

The man couldn't help but chortle along with her, thoroughly entertained by her compliment. Handsome, ha! Erebos certainly didn't think so. There had been a time when he was, when a crooked smile and wink of his inferno eyes could get any lady to swing her hips his way (or so he thought). Now, despite his regained muscle and coordination, the man couldn't help but feel his age, and this led him to think himself more haggard in appearance than he truly was. After all, his days of courtship were long behind in his mind, as the thought crossed between his head he reminisced briefly, too, to sleepy afternoons spent curled up next to @Delia. She hadn't been his last, but she'd been damn close to it, and she had marked his decline. Leaving her, leaving @Zeta and Zane behind, had perhaps been what had aged him most.

They walked together in silence for a few heavy moments, vivid eyes scanning the area methodically as he focused on the responsibilities at paw. He himself would have been content to spend the rest of the day as such, yet he could not push his company completely from his mind, and despite her lack of vocalization, pressure slowly began to creep in upon him to entertain.

"Y'know, I could use an afternoon snack," he mused aloud, before turning his gaze to her. "Race ya to it."

There was not a single second given for her to refuse the invitation, the man lurching forward and taking off over the rocky landscape, pinpointed toward the nearest cache.
