Backdated to 26th January, day after Revon, Adeltra and Wendigo come to PS

Things weren't adding up. @Revon was clearly terrified, @Adeltra was convinced she had been kidnapped, but the boy with them knew that things were tense between the Heights and the Willows. She wasn't going to put the pressure on the yearling in case he ran off before she could get to the bottom of it, but the only way she was going to get a straight answer was from Greer himself.

As she finally crossed the scent she had been searching for, she approached with casual indifference, a quick shove of her shoulder into @Sovanna's she lowered her voice, just in case they were being watched. "I need yer ter get ter th' Heights, fast as yer can. Tell @Greer Revon is here. She was with a yearlin' I didn' recognise. Once yer done, go ter @Ravenna an' let 'er know Adeltra is 'ere too." She bowed down in a stretch, her tail curving over her spine to wave. To an observer it would all seem casual enough, just a leader checking in with one of her subordinates. "Wait til yer hit the meadow ter pick up pace, we don' want ter go spookin' our guest."

Sovanna Archer

Sovanna had just returned to the territory after scouting out the surrounding territories for herds that the Scowle could potentially hunt when Morganna shoved her shoulder, Sovie’s ears perking as her eyes darted to her, her tail lashing slightly at first, but relaxing when she saw it was her sounds. A mission… urgent… to the Heights. It was Greer’s daughter… Ravenna… Greer… Heights first, then Willows would make the mission faster, and it would be more efficient. What seemed stranger to the girl, perhaps, was the way she was told not to raise alarm. She nodded, understanding the tactic.

Wait until she hit the meadows? She could do that. It would slow her down, but not by much. Sovie was relaxed with a wide smile on her face but a look in her eyes that screamed ‘I understand completely.’ “I understand… I was just out scouting the surrounding area for herds… I saw one out by the meadows that I was going to follow to observe.” She figured, if Morg didn’t want their guest spooked, then an alibi might be best to be verbalized. She just hoped Morg didn’t think she was crazy and picked up on what she was doing. Sovie felt very much like a secret agent at this moment, and it made the young girl excited.

His worry of the pups should have ceased. They all had made it after all. Together no less and about the same way they had left them. But it seemed to just be replaced with a new worry. What all sort of trouble they were going to be getting into. It would be hard to find a balance of when to let them fall or help them stand. It'd been that way at Torbine but a lot less conflicting. They were certainly not the small bundles of fluff that had yapped at his heels, and begged for just one more game. They were coming of age, and rough and tumble as ever. On his side he stretched out his legs, waiting for the faint pop of his joints. It was midday, and after a successful catch of a rabbit he thought he deserved to soak in a bit of the sunshine.

Morganna could feel the coming season already, the traditional chaos of duty versus want keeping her away from Celandine for now lest the women butt heads. She didn't hold the same worries Renier did, knowing that now her children were born their job was all but done, and they would be able to thrive from now on under the steam of their own ambitions. That didn't mean she was quite convinced that she was ready to start all over again, despite the wants of her own body which would become apparent in the following weeks.

She approached Renier, burying her nose behind his ear in greeting before allowing herself to sprawl out at his side. The events of the previous weeks left her craving these quiet moments. She would take what she could get while ever it was on offer.

The morning walk had been a cold one. It had taken a lot of trotting for him to fully warm up and get to work. His legs were all damp to the elbows-hocks from all the frost, and he his nose felt extra wet. With the sun rising higher, warming his back, his route completed, he moseyed on over to the pack den. Falling beside @Morganna not hesitating to rest his head on her side. He wasn't sure if dark ask what the children were up today. Or if this moment would soon be interrupted. "How'd ya sleep?" He had more he wanted to ask her, but was in no great rush. Yet. His eyes flicked around, waiting for movement.

Morganna leaned into Renier's familiar touch with a contented sigh, allowing his question to hang in the air for a moment and answering with a smirk in the interim, "Better," better because she had chosen to move out of the cramped confines of the den and move to somewhere that would allow her to stretch out her limbs free from the rapidly growing bodies of their children. She too, was reluctant to mention their brood, lest one apparate from thin air with their demands and a need for attention and learning. It would seem, however, that they were safe - for now. "Care ter join me fer a stroll?"
