It was a rare moment t that he got to himself with his new responsibilities as leader but the pale healer didn't mind. Some of his duties hadn't changed much but it was keeping up with his subordinates that he enjoyed most. As beta he'd tried to make himself known to all of his packmates but he was sure there were a few he hadn't had the chance to talk to, as leader that had to change. That all could wait for that afternoon as he intended to spend some time with his daughter. Now that she was up and about he didn't see any reason to take her from Jynx for a bit, give his mate a rest. She'd been spending so much time with the children after all.
He went to the den and poked his head inside to see if Arwyn was in there and not out exploring somewhere. He'd noticed them getting a little restless as of late, he supposed they were certainly ready to leave the den. It would be time for them to meet the pack soon, Emrys was a little nervous about that. “Arwyn,” he called into the den. He knew she would be at the same stage as Hawthorne had been when he'd had his play session with her but he was sure she knew her name.
The pale healer thought that if his daughter was up for it he might take her on a short walk through her home. If not that then a play session until she was ready for a nap, then they could nap together. There were so many things he wanted to show and teach her and her brother but some of them would have to wait until they were older of course. “Arwyn,” he called once more into the den before sitting back on his haunches to wait for her to emerge.
