The answer had surprised the male a little, as it was hard for him to imagine the area to be any less swampy than it is now. But this was caused by the fact he'd never been here before, being a stranger in a new strange land and all. The male did not had any reasons to not believe the answer, as his eyes didn't saw anything that could have warn him or unhinge his trust in the other male's voice. For a moment, Blackmoore wanted to reply jokingly with a simple "obviously" but answer like this would be rude. He murmured in acknowledgment instead.
“I have a lot of the same views in that area. But it’s worked out thus far,” A little bit later, Alastor had pleasantly surprised him with acknowledgment that he does too hold some similar views on the matter. But this made the male wonder about why he goes with it, and the male couldn't help but think that she must be the cause of it. This was of course an assumption, but one which make a lot of sense to him at the moment. “You know which way to point your nose if you ever change you mind,” He didn't exactly liked the way this sounded, but there was nothing but to roll with it. Perhaps the pair didn't liked to waste their time when most of the cards had been uncovered and not in their favor.
Before he had a chance to reply to this abrupt change, both of them heard a little (albeit splashy) rustle nearby on which the male had promptly reacted: “Looks like Sahalie may have discovered something. I’d better go see if she needs any help cornering it. It was nice to meet you Blackmoore, perhaps we’ll meet again at another time,” He had a hard time deciding was it planned or did he just witnessed a very crafty way of ending their conversation without offending anyone. Either way, he wasn't going to stop anyone from doing what they like. And perhaps the pair was in a true need of supplies for their sanctuary. If that was the case, he'd got no right to feel offended by any of this. Anyway, he kept his eyes on Alastor as he'd spoke thoughtfully in reply: "Perhaps, only the time will tell..."
