Nightingale Palisade storm the ravine

Across the land she searched tirelessly for a new den to call her own. While Stonewatch Timbers was a nice place, it had simply been a place to rest her head away from prying eyes. Now that she had poked her head in XIX's general direction, she needed to find something more sustainable should she need somewhere to rest. While the ravine wasn't the friendliest place to want to linger ( especially if one deals with sleep walking ) , Anastasia could readily see that at least the sloped incline to the sides would be pleasant and worth a gander. From where she stood there were no feasible dens to uncover but there were always surprises to be found.

Confidently the pale doll climbed up the incline to the west, eager to see what was over the horizon but cautious enough to know where not to misstep. One foul step and she could be sent right back down, or so she assumed. The Starklen was a rather clumsy creature and she wouldn't put it against her luck to bet she wouldn't collapse and be swept away in a mad rush of water. At least here she didn't have to worry about knowing how to get back. All she had to do was go down and south, right?

Blue eyes swept to the south and for a long few moments she stood, trying to gather if it still looked familiar or if she had already gotten confused and turned around.

More and more Cheedo found herself out away from Whitestone, she was determined to earn her chosen role. This time however she wasn't alone, accompanied by Wraith. She did enjoy the large males company on her scouting mission and he was always helpful with a piece of advice for her here and there. What really helped was the knowledge that he trusted her scouting abilities which she felt were improving everyday. This time they were traveling farther out away from the lowlands. Cheedo was good to have Wraith with her on this first venture past the Lowlands.

They were tracking a herd of deer to see if their travel pattern would lead them into the Lowlands and searching out any packs they might find on the way. They had of course already passed Wild Rye Fields and as they did Cheedo though she might stop by at some point and introduce herself. That was another time though as the deer and where they were heading was a much more pressing matter. Not that Whitestone was hurting for food but winter would be in the lore soon enough as they would need to prepare.

Something caught the scout in training attention as they had come to a less than flat terrain it looked to be a white figure in the distance. The small agouti stopped and looked back to her darker companion, “Do you see that?” She asked him before indicating with her muzzle what that was exactly.
