It seemed that Solas had stumbled onto someone who knew their craft and knew it well because every word that seemed to fall from Zev's lips brought forth knowledge that Solas had never heard before and things he had never thought about. The fire that he knew scorched and burned leaving nothing behind unless dealt with swiftly and the damage it dealt could be lethal. Zev tipped his jaw up and Solas could see the unnatural blackness to it. So Zev had known the risks it would bring yet he still praised its uses assuming he was telling the truth. Is it really worth the risk though? Solas couldn't help back ask as he sat back to watch the other male.
Solas fell silent thinking on his the new information that had been given to him as he watched Zev pace around gathering sticks. He had no idea what the other wolf was trying to do and it gave him time to digest the knowledge. Fire that wasn't bad. Stones that could eat and help to get rid of fleas. Rocks that could create fire. He felt a little blindsided because what else was out there that he hadn't thought about? Hadn't learned? And how many wolves were aware of this knowledge to begin with?
I haven't come across any in this area. I don't know it very well though. Solas responded returning his focus to Zev who on to say that springs were more useful. Did he really want to know why? How are they better He nodded at the rock and if you're trying to get that rock somewhere why don't you just break it into chunks and carry it there? Maybe there was a reason to keep it whole...
