In the last three weeks since her son had been born Nauja hadn't left him aside from going out to relieve herself. While the draw wolves had been nothing but kind to her she was still a little apprehensive since she didn't know most of them. Still it was time that her little man got his first taste of the big wide world. Now that his eyes and ears were open he could really experience it in the way that it should be. She wanted that for him, she wanted him to experience everything there was.
“It's time for you to greet the world,” she told her since with a gentle nudge to his side. She rose to her paws and moved to the den entrance. “It might be scary at first but your father and I will be right there with you,” she assured. Nauja then stepped out into the sun. The warmth in her face was something she'd missed but she'd happily miss it for her son. As she waited she looked around for Tyne, he'd stayed close she knew he wouldn't be too far.
Just to be sure she gave a few short barks to let him know that it was time for his son to take his first steps outside the den. She wondered if any of the other pack members would come to see him as well. None of them had seen him yet, they would need to. All in good time. The sea wolf turned back to the den entrance to watch for her son.
