Large inky paws moved through the Shroud at a leisurely pace. They all had agreed to take the time to explore the territory, feel it out, to see if they would settle. The young man was still working out the 'feeling out' part. He would be lying if he said he didnt miss the mountain. The crisp breezes, the stunning views, the almost crystal clear lake...all those loved ones left behind. The forest at times felt claustrophobic, though the spot Nori found was not far from a hilly meadow. The open space felt more freeing than the forest but at times it felt too open, too exposed. It would take some getting used to.
As he walked along the tree line his dual gaze found a small rock formation. Matty thought nothing of it until he took another step and the rocks changed. He stopped in his tracks and his head tilted in confusion. That looked like...a face. A wolf's face. How curious.
