Nina Hervok

She hated being miserable. Her children were all that mattered to her and with each that lost their mind or died or disappeared, was only another stab to her heart. Nina had once been quite fragile but after experiencing so much loss and disappointment, she resigned herself to becoming use to it. Pacem’s disappearance worried her, for she knew that a boy his age shouldn’t be out on his own. The mother also knew that he was the least likely, aside from Silentium, to leave their lovely home. Her attention returned to her son as he spoke to her, something that was quite rare for someone with his disability. She was glad that he was heading her words and with one final kiss she watched as she left the den, his paws thumping lightly on the ground.

He was so young and Nina worried that he was trying to grow up too fast. As much as he wanted to help, he also needed to enjoy the life that he had. He was prince of the lands that he was born into and was never forced to do anything. Her tail wagged slightly at the thought of his father. All of Hollow’s children were just like him and it warmed the Hervok’s heart that this was so. The mother was positive that the Nite man would have returned if he was still alive. Her love for him was controlled and while it hurt that he was no longer with her, she knew it could have been much worse. She had experienced it hurting more once before and she did not want to have to fall back into that pit again. Sighing, she pushed herself into a standing position so that she could do morning rounds of the borders. Hopefully, Pacem would be found and would be returned safely to where he belonged.

It seems when you're around, my life is complete.
