Zahira Asurn

The Russet woman snarled for the thousand time that day and for the thousands time that day she rubbed her body aginst a tree itching back at the constantly growing itchiness in her skin. It had snuck up one her like a beast stalking its prey. Slowly it had appeared like a fire growing up from her paws and spreading all over her body. Like a burning itchy sensation, it crawled under her skin in such a way that she no matter how she itched, chewed and scratched could not reach it. She huffed as she shook her fur after scratching, not that it helped. Honestly, she would probably be more likely to scratch of her own skin on the rough trees then stop the itchiness. Snorting she moved on until the sound of water reached her ears.

Zahira moved quickly until the river was in front of her, the water was free and moving and it appeared that most of the ice that passed down was smashed by the boulders poking out from under the water.

Body itching as the burning sensation continued its rapid path around her and she could curse binge a female all the way to hell. Honestly, the males had it easy, they did not have to burn like their body was binge thread by a thousand ants. And if the deed was done they did not have to be stuck with tiny useless balls of fur for months.

Mowing she stepped out into the water the cold sensation of the liquid rushing around her paws had her shiver as she made her way out to a point where her body would be partially submerged if she laid down. Which was fully her plan. placing herself so that a boulder broke apart the rushing water for stability and to keep the bits of ice from hitting her. Sighing as the cold water did wonders on that itch she could not scratch she leaned aginst the boulder sighing.

She'd probably spent more time rubbing herself on the trees during her border patrol then was necessary but to make the itch that never seemed to stop go away. The agouti woman was running out of ideas on how to scratch the itch that crawled under her skin like a thousand bugs and nothing she tried worked to make it stop. She'd left the draw heading out into sacred grove in search of something else that might be able to give her some relief.

The heat that had been a constant was starting to build once again, Leotie was done with rolling in the snow. It wasn't helping and every passing moment the river looked more and more inviting and that is where her paws carried her. When she Got there it seemed another female had the same idea. This was something of a comfort, she wasn't the only one going through this.

Stepping up to the water she hoped placing her paws in the water would be enough, “Is it helping you?” She called to the woman the frustration she felt clear in her tone. Leotie was certain that the woman was suffering from the same problem she was. She took a few more steps into the water until it had reached the middle of her legs.

Zahira lifted rushed onto her legs into a defensive stance as soon as the other woman spoke announcing her presence. Standing tall for a moment ears pulled back and tail held high just in case but soon realized that she likely had no need for the defensiveness in front of a woman who was likely in the same state as her and who did not appear threatening. Dropping her stance she as she sat back down eyes on the stranger, "Sorry about that, spring is a...." she paused for a moment "Problematic time" she said offering the woman a smile. She was quite lovely, wasn't she? Her pelt a medium to dark agouti and eyes a light sky blue color. Honestly, she was quite the perfect specimens for a timber. "It helps a bit, more the using trees as scratching posts." She huffed before flopping back down on her belly water rushing over her pelt and soothing her own personal fire.

Eye on the woman she watched her from her place in the river. Honestly, has a fire not been burning under her skin she might have been more worried about submissive and dominant stance but at the moment she could nor care less. Fuck the idea of binge dominance right now she just wanted this bothering itch to go the hell away. "Planing to join me?" the russet wolf asked as she watched the newcomer.

A step back was taken when the woman suddenly took a defensive stance as Leotie was taken aback by the behavior. This is not what she was looking for when she had come to the river. She wanted relief from what she had been feeling. The water had only managed to help the parts of her body that it was touching so she thought she might have finally found her relief. She didn't even feel the coldness of the water the heat within her was burning so strongly. The woman finally relaxed as did Leotie as she stepped a little further into the water letting it cover more of her legs. “It's okay, I'm starting to see just how problematic it can be.” Though she still didn't quite understand what was going on with her body. “It hasn't helped much for me, I've just spent the better part of the morning doing that,” she admitted but the water, now that was doing something for her.

Leotie's eyes didn't leave the woman as it was only natural to have some distrust but then the offer to join was given. The agouti woman didn't hesitate to wade into the water out to where the other woman was lying in the water as the water rushed over her. When she reached her Leotie laid her body into the water next to her just as the woman was doing and found that it did help just as she'd been told. “Coming to the river was the best idea I've had all day,” she said a sigh of relief escaping her as the water rushed through her pelt soothing the heat that ran through her.

The Russet woman smiled by the others words, "an itch we can't reach how mother nature loves to torment us" she spoke as she placed her muzzle underwater blowing out bubbles from her nose before raising her head again. "Snow drifts help a bit to but not that much" she said eyes back on the woman. A smile growing on her lips as she took in the other woman's scent. It was sweet with the rich scent of spring but also held the whispering scents of others. So she was a pack wolf? Sure she knew there were packs in the arear, their borders were hard to miss. And to be honest it did not surprise her that the lovely woman in front of her where a pack wolf.

As the woman made her way out into the water Zahra's eyes were watchful but her posture were relaxed. However, as the woman laid down rather close to her she was generally surprised. Sure it wasn't like she tried to chek her nose off but still, her first impression had not been the best performance so far. But as the other spoke and sighed in relief Zahira could not help but laugh lightly.  "Can't do anything but agree to that statement" She said as amusement played in her voice.  "I'm Zahira Asurn currently a lone wolf." she said a light nod with her head as a greeting to the other.

It seemed to Leotie that the woman in the water was going through the same thing as her so what better way to find out what was wrong with her then by talking to another woman. “So that is what this is? It seems a little unfair to me that mother nature would do this to use females and not the males.” She watched as the woman blew bubbles into the water before the woman spoke again, “I will have to try a little help is better than none, do you know of anything else?” It had only just begun and Leotie was ready for it to be over so she could feel normal again. The frustration she felt didn't seem to have a reason it was just there and it put her into moods that weren't her normal self.

Leotie made the decision to join the woman in the water hoping that it might cool the fire inside of her. Keeping a watchful eye she made her way through the water to take up a spot next to the woman in order to continue their conversation. A smile crossed Leotie’s face at the woman's words, “It seems to be helping a little, is it helping you?” She inquired from the woman curious as to how she was faring. The agouti woman hoped that the longer she was in the water the more it would help. “Leotie Rhys from Charred Ash Draw,” she said when the woman introduced herself.
