The gray agouti boy could be impatient at times wanting all of the answers that his father could give him all at once. He didn't understand why the pale man wouldn't but instead just gave him tidbits here and there for him to go on. Despite his impatience at not having all of the answers he had managed to figure out what they were tracking and he had kept them in the trail. He had also figured out that they were getting closer to their prey and now he was getting a little anxious with the anticipation of what was to come next. He looked up at his father as thoughts of failing and disappointing Emrys went through his head. The last thing he wanted to do was mess everything up and for a short moment he wasn't sure he wanted to continue on.
His father did confirm that they were getting close and told him they would have to be careful as they continued. The boy nodded before starting to follow the trail once more. This time he was careful with his steps, each paw placed carefully so he didn't make a sound. He wondered how much longer it would be and what they would have to do once they found the rabbits. A glance at his father behind him was met with an encouraging smile. Elyan continued on before stopping once more, “I think they are very close by,” he told his father before waiting to see what he thought.
