The small boy had found himself on the edge of the pack territory that night. Out here he could be alone while everyone else settled down for the evening. His breathing was slow as he tried to compose himself. There were so many scents around him it almost made him panic. He had gone from having one wolf to no one and now a whole pack. The changes had been leaps and bounds out of his comfort zone. But he had asked to come here and it would be rude to flee just because he couldn't handle so many wolves. Even the leader Lachesis had been so kind just like Ana had said.
His face twisted into something more pensive. What was he expected to do during his time here? He had said he would learn but what would he learn? The Balik boy had no skills of his own besides traveling where he shouldn't and barely surviving on his own but he didn't think that was what pack wolves were looking for.
