Adeltra wasn’t stupid, she could tell the boy was being flirtatious. Any other girl might have blushed or flirted back, but she didn’t really care. She hardly knew him anyhow and saw him as nothing other than another wolf. It took a strong connection for her to find those types of feelings. At least, that was what she suspected. She did, however, respond with a sassy eyeroll. Because, as an Archer, she was certainly full of sass.
With the final reply of both her brows were raised. It seemed like they thought pack wolves didn’t know much. But, what they didn’t know was that Adeltra had spent plenty of time on her own. She had learned much from her family, but she also had a spark of life in her from the outside. She could hold her own. “Oh, you don’t have to worry about me. I’d watch your own hind ends, though,” she said with a grin, before turning forward and lunging for a coyote of her own.
