Orev Rain
The conversation had reached a point where their words were not just about little nothings. It was a nice change of topics, he liked how this fae could switch from kind-hearted to more business-like. She showed she was mature and well chosen for her place, Rain always liked to see such things. Till this day he had only met fine wolves which he hoped to see once more. Having some acquaintances were never bad. Cali though looked on the edge of spacing of somewhere again. Did she feel comfortable enough to let her guard off in his presence? Normally he wouldn't approve of behaviour like this, it was his mindset that couldn't allow him to suddenly lower the walls he had made. However things were not like his mind was used to. Here the wolves were not drenched with blood and more beast than wolf. So it was okay, he should adjust more and more with time.

Her words were well chosen and she already set requirements he should meet, may he want to be a part of the River pack. A slow nod came from his silver head as he considered the things that were just said. Loyalty, honor, protecting. It was no different from his past life. Rain believed he had the needed requirements, ever since his younger days he had been loyal to his King and Prince till they left before him. He protected, he knew how it felt to lose dear ones. He had lost many of them and the wolf had wondered many times how his heart could fall apart after many times of taping it back together. 'If you would, please do so.' He answered simply. As he had already told Cali he didn't wish to join just because he needed it. Five years of loyalty was hard to erase, he had a good past life. Rain didn't expect some lollapalooza alpha who would overthrow his King. The Riverking did not even have to be on the same level as that of his old one. Rain would see if this pack was worthy for him, he was sure the pack would look at him with the same mindset.

Cali Swiftpaw
Cali watched as he considered her words and wondered what was going through the enigmatic wolf's mind. He claimed to not need a pack as was evidenced by his apparent good health, even in the cold season. He looked to be strong and the markings of past battles shown on his body in various places, not in an unpleasant way. They seemed more badges of honor to her assessing eyes.

She looked him in the eyes, pleased with what she saw. She wondered if her leaders would feel the same. Few were admitted into the River pack, but she felt that perhaps some new blood would help revitalize them. Perhaps stir things up in a good way. With a nod she said, "Please follow me then. Her voice was all business now. The proud white fae turned to lead the way back to the very shoreline that she had initially warned him away from. She found the irony a bit humorous, but hoped that things would turn out all right. Things had a way of working out in the end.

When they reached the river she turned to him with a small smile and said, "I hope that we can become friends, Orev Rain." With that, she lifted her snowy muzzle to call her alphas to the borders.

Orev Rain
This thread is done ^0^
Things had rolled in strange ways before and this change was a good one. At least the silver male expected to be a good one. Meeting the white fae was pure coincidence, seeing how their conversation started it was strange how the woman nodded and asked him to follow her. In silent reply he did was he was asked to, his big paws stepped over the hidden line he was warned for. Though those couple steps were no big difference for the environment for a wolf it was much. The scents Rain could smell from the other side became more strong, like he walked through a door into something new. His silver gaze looked observant around, whatever he may join or not he should watch everything good. If he was accepted he had to know the lands, if he was not he should take a good look as he may not get another look of it.

Water softly sang on the background. Swift River, they should be near. Though he didn't expect to be brought to their Den immediately. This river however may be the source of life for these wolves. Rain watched the proud back of Cali, totally in her place. She turned when the river was in sight. The transparent liquid moved slowly through it's banks reflecting their stature. Cali turned back to him and smiled. Orev gave a fade smile and nodded. No promise to be made as they could break easily, let's just see how the ball would roll. Although he hoped the same. With that a lift of her white head she gave a call for her leaders. Expectant he watched around. Surprise me.
