Her fall had anointed her skin with a cluster of bruises. The freshness stung; however, she was happy that there had been no broken bones. Travel was hard enough without meals — so hard that lisette could not even fathom what it would be like to wander with a cracked rib. the thought alone made her cringe as she moved about and plotted her course. for a full day she had been wandering the mountain's heights. a full day of endless and lonely walking. a part of her wished to just die at this point. there was nobody here for her and it felt absolutely dreadful; but she could not stop. lisette had never experienced the life of a lone wolf in all of her days, so it was fitting that it happened to her at some point. she was not adventurous in any sense. her brothers were knights, essentially - her father a deacon of their faith, and the spiritual leader of cicatrice. while young lisette had never taken a hearty interest in his work, she now found herself missing the man's stalwart attitude. she missed her brothers being overly protective. she missed the warmth of her mother, and the subdued pride of her handmaidens.

this place was the antithesis of everything lisette had ever known. it was lonely first and foremost, it was bleak, it was empty. the mountain was hard against her paws, unforgiving. the soil here was not at all like the soft and moss-thick place of her birth. lisette found her spirit fading quickly as the night wore on, and the chill set in to her bones. a night of wandering was supposed to be a romantic thing but here, in this strange place, it had become convoluted. she thought about all the days she spent watching the stars. of all the boys who had tried to garner her affection - but she was nevery very vain, not like her mother. lisette the chaste, is what they should have called her. lisette the sombre. with the decreasing of her energy came the decreasing of her mood - and young miss dubois grew hard in her thoughts. morbid, perhaps her mother would have said. the stars watched her begin to descend the mountain, but it wasn't until morning that she finally found a proper path. it wormed down the side of the cliffs in a way that made lisette feel nauseated; vertigo rose up to greet her anytime she looked down, or if she moved too quickly.

as the wolf finally reached the end of the path, she breathed a quick sigh of relief - but then found, to her dismay, that the path had ended only halfway down the mountainside. there was more work to be done before she could rest, and that broke her spirit further. lisette was no worker - she couldn't even hunt on her own, a fact she was reminded of as she peered down the mountainside, and spied the tracks of an animal. from her vantage point it was hard to make out what species; this was not her forte. survivalist tactics were left to the men, obviously. with a mewling groan lisette plopped her petite rear upon the earth, and began to quietly sob to herself. if only her soul would just decamp from her body! she could be free of this horrible life that had swallowed her up so thoroughly.

Once more the dark fae wonders, decamping from her pack's borders to arch north west around the bend between Drooping Willow lands and the Cedar forest. In time, she is within the Wildwood, approaching the Bramble Falls with a determination as though she had one. Of course, as a Medic within the pack, she had much reason within spring and summer to scour the lands for herbs, though as the only Leader within the pack currently and pregnant, the choice was one she mad all her own, likely to the objection of her pack mates. Though none had approached her on the manner as of yet or perhaps, none had caught her in the act. She held no partner at her side to try to tell her otherwise, nor a mate to do such ether. She roamed a free woman, even as a Matriarch within her ranks.
The Falls were thunderous here as they had been the night her amongst the lot of the Lore gathered to exterminate the pack beyond the mountains that had done such ill to them prior. The disease was hopeful to die with those who harbored it if only those healthy stayed clear of their clutches. Wolves, children, were lost, but they had in the end won and survived. A sigh took Elettra, dipping her muzzle down long enough only to take a sip from the water before looping on, edging at the mountain side with the intent to move directly south back towards home. South would directly bring her to the eastern edge of her territory and to the storage den for where extra back-up herbs were to be stored.
In her trek back, a prideful step as she strode upon long, sturdy limbs, she heard the sound f whimpering. She pauses, a perk in her deep black ears as her grey rimmed muzzle lifts towards the sound. Upon a ledge, far from her reach but not by far enough to where she could not see the girl clearly, was a wolf. A huff takes Elettra, feeling little for the weeping woman, though wonders what drives her man enough to spend her time crying over her misfortune instead of prevailing beyond. "Crying will not mend your suffering." Elettra speaks simply, her tongue curling with the deep exotic tongue of a land far beyond here.

Tears rolled from the corners of her eyes, sliding as thick silver drops along her cheeks. Due to the hang of her head, the liquid turned and followed the line of her snout. She watched as they slipped from the tip of her nose and painted the stone beneath her with colour; through the blur, the grey of the earth became a more saturated brown. It was pretty, in a way - but Lisette was too forlorn to find much peace in the colour of rocks. She gave a great sniff to clear her sinuses, and inhaled both a tear drop and an array of dust; her eyes squeezed shut then, as she continued to quietly sit there and stew. A second sniff brought her more than just her own sorrow - there was a scent there, clustered behind the gritty texture of the dirt. The wolf approached her from below and she thought she saw the shadows coalesce in to the shape of a woman, so she looked up. The woman appeared to notice her quite easily, but then again, Lisette had not hidden herself away. She had not thought anyone would be here to catch her. At first her instinct was to stand and try to flee, so she did just that. Rising to her full height, her muscles tired but tense, she was ready to bolt when the voice finally lilted upon the air. It was not one she recognized, but it was not hostile either. This was not one of her pursuers, so her guard was relaxed.

The words finally registered in her head, and Lisette gave a great and tired sigh. Her rear found it's place upon the ledge again, but she held in the urge to weep. It was not right to cry in front of others, after all. A slight shake of her head dried her fur in a topical sense, while also chilling her cheeks with cold kisses. "I do not know what else to do." She replied curtly, with a surprisingly calm timbre to her own voice. The stranger seemed kind enough, in passing. Her voice was soothing and foreign in tone, and the words themselves carried a harsher sentiment, but Lisette was not offended. It was nice enough to have found another living thing in this odd place. "I must be unseemly to you - crying here, out in the open." Lisette mentioned this off-handedly, while trying to blink away a fresh wave of sorrow that wished to leak over the edge of her vision. Her voice cracked then, and so she sucked in a swift little breath and held back the emotions that wished for a way out. She looked away from her new found ally as she did this, trying to steady herself so that they could have a proper conversation; she would not be a snivelling child before this woman. She refused such atrocities. Upon turning her head to look upon the dark woman, Lisette hoped she appeared happier than before; even if it was a false happiness, a faked sense of calm, it would do. "If you would but leave me here upon this rock, I will not trouble you any further with my weakness."

The woman before her lifts firstly, tense as though in fear with a reason to flee from the scene, perhaps in shame of her state and/or perhaps with an unwillingness to be seen by anyone whilst she mourned for whatever reason it may have been. Elettra was a woman of much bottled emotion herself, refusing to allow others to see her is a state of sadness or distress. She needed to be strong for her pack, more now then ever as it's sole Leader, as a pregnant woman with no mate to call her own to protect her, her children, or the position she carried. She was only herself, a single woman, with a will of an army and it was this face, this reputation, which she must uphold if she would become the Legend she willed herself to become. Her pain was her own and so long as she was able to hold it, would forever be.
When the younger woman firstly speaks on behalf of not knowing what else to do, Elettra holds back the scoff. Perhaps this woman had just been kicked from her home, had been betrayed, abandoned or perhaps had been the remainder of a family lost to ruin. The situation could have been very dire to this woman and Elettra, perhaps only due to the emotion of her pregnant state alone, tried to understand this, to find a reminder of her own pain in order to sympathize in some way. Little could be mustered, but enough to keep her within her placement still to look up upon the sender red wolf. She speaks not upon the woman being 'unseemly' for she was and perhaps this quiet and the expression she offers would have revealed this, had the girl not turned her head away in a deep intake with hopes to collect herself from the next round of tears falling from her eyes. In some manner, Elettra felt sorry for her only that she was sorry it was she who had come across her and not someone with pity and a soft heart, to offer her love and affection where Elettra felt she could not. Kyrie was a delicate heart all her own, Tempest of an air of understanding and a guiding paw. Even the friendly and open Narime, or Nina could have done better with the situation then Elettra could have ever dreamed to accomplish.
"I will not pity you." And there she speaks, her words flat though without lacking the meaning. Her intent was to tell the woman she would not pity her because no strong wolf should be pitied, but perhaps understood and righted in their direction. That the world would not coddle her and neither would Elettra, but perhaps help her if help was wanted. Though all this meaning held not on her tongue, if only in her eyes, likely to fail where words would have been best granted. "If it is to be left with your weakness you seek, then so be it. But if it is reason to move on and a path to due so which you will, I may offer it." She could lay down once more and rot within the mercy surely to consume her or, she could take the harsher path and live. She could live a new life from whatever wrong she was leaving in her wake and Elettra would be her open door to this. The offer was there and Elettra takes a single step, hesitant in her wait for answer, though ready to leave at any moment of objection.
