Remembrance of his father planted many seeds of doubt into the Hervok's mind. Still after all of these years his father held such a powerful influence over his mind, it almost sickened him. But then he remembered how ensured his name had been when he had given it to Treena....she still had his name, even after all the time they had been apart. Shaking the thought of her out of his mind, he settled his unsure gaze onto the form of his dearest friend, knowing that the silence that flint between them could have been very uncomfortable to her, who was waiting for his hopefully positive answer. Swallowing, his large head bowed towards the floor, begging for any sign for something that he was doing the right thing. Treena Rose Hervok, Namara Hervok, Treena Rose Hervok, Namara Hervok. They were too different wolves, he reminded himself once again, his jaw clenching in anger. He was not angry with her, but with his inner demons and wishing desperately that he could give her all that she asked for...that he could give her happiness.
Reaching out towards her, he comfortingly pressed his muzzle against hers once again. Taking a deep breath and making his final decision, he spoke, his tones soft and low, "I would very much like that." His large form moved towards her again, nipping at her nap gently in an affectionate gesture. This could be their place now, one that they could share together if they wanted to get away from everything above them. It would be a welcome getaway every once and awhile when things with the pack did not go as they so readily planned. He breathed sweet things into her ear then, hoping that she wouldn't perceive his former silence as hesitation. He knew that she could protect herself, but if he needed to, he would protect her.
