Leotie Rhys

Leotie was at a loss for where Sven had come from or what he was even doing there but even more why he seemed so angry. She had never see this side of her friend and if confused her because she hadn't felt Savion would hurt her. He had recognized she needed help and he knew what to do. Then just when she thought the heat rising in her and the unsatisfiable itch would stop Sven had come. She had to stop him from causing her to lose the only chance she saw to make it stop.

She had managed to stop Sven from chasing the man away completely, leaving her with the hope that she might still get his help. Still his demeanor toward the man confused the woman because bags didn't see a reason to be angry. As the man stated he only wanted to help and give her the relief she sought.

Her attention was brought back to Savion as he spoke to Sven complementing his name just as he'd done her. The word handsome in regard to Sven though struck a small seed of distrust in her toward the man who said he wanted to help her. When Sven bluntly told her what the man had planned for her, how he was going to help her exactly her ears could have happened had Sven not shown up.

Then something else clicked in her brain as his next words rang through her ears lifting some of the heat induced fog that had taken over. Sven was only protecting her, not only from Savion but herself and the mistake she was about to make. Leotie let herself be pushed out of the way falling in beside her pale friend her side touching his as the venom that flowed from Sven's mouth shocked her but at the same time she was grateful to have him on her side.

Despite the need that still burned in her Leotie regained some of the senses she'd lost in her search for the relief she sought. “I think you should go,” she said to the man trying to keep her composure, “I won't stop him if you choose not to.” She felt that if the man didn't leave soon Sven wouldn't hesitate to make him leave. She then pressed her head into Sven's side wanting to hide from the world because she'd been so stupid.

Savion Selwyn
Savion couldn't help but roll his eyes as lover boy went on a verbal rampage, letting loose all sorts of foul words as he did so. That was a bit childish wasn't it? Weren't there more proper ways of goin' about it? Not that he really had room to talk, seeing as he had an awful potty mouth at the best of times. But that was aside the point, there was a lady present and if he truly cared 'bout her then surely he'd be a little more tactful, yeah?

If Savion was supposed to be threatened by the display, well the kiddo would have to deal with being disappointed. He had a loud bark, but The Comedian was dubious about his bite. Years of experience were on the Selwyns side. And what did this lover boy have? A years practice tussling with his family? Savion snorted in contempt. The more he talked the less attractive he became, he'd never liked those who didn't know when to shut their trap.

It seemed like the game was over, the shroud lifted from Leotie's head. Such a shame. Not the end of the world though, Savion knew when to cut his loses and really this did seem like game over. Now that he knew he had no chance, Savion's interest in the girl vanished at the drop of the proverbial hat. There were plenty more fish in the sea, it's not like a guy like him had difficulty swaying the ladies. It was no skin off his nose.

Yawning, Savion bowed down into a stretch, barely just catching Leotie's pointed words. She wanted him to leave huh? Well all right, he'd leave but he wasn't gonna rush. The Comedian did everything at his own pace. And not without having his say.

" Well all right, I know when I'm not welcome. Geeze, you folk so unreasonable. Did'ja lose your manners or somethin'? Tsk." He flicked his tail in contempt and with that he headed off deeper into the woods till he faded out of sight.

Sven Archer
She moved. Dimly he was aware of the acceptance this proved, because she did not leave him, was not backing away from his anger. Her flank pressed against his and her words filtered into the air in support of even his threats. Sven took a step further in the joker's direction, fangs continuing to glisten as they were bared. If it weren't for that added pressure of her dial against his ribs he would've broke away, lunging for the other man the moment his opened his mouth to speak with that forked tongue.

As it was, he simply continued to growl, the rumble low and steady, increasing only in volume as the rogue droned on. With a haughtiness that he had not seen since Peirus, the man at least had enough sense to turn tail. Sven wanted so badly to take chase, to him not just trot away but flee, but there was someone else far more important to tend to.

Backing up, Sven curved his neck to hook his muzzle underneath Leotie's chin, attempting to lift her head so that he might look her in the eyes.

"Are you alright? He didn't touch you, did he?"

She'd wanted to stop Sven but once she understood what had been about to happen to her, what he had stopped she would not. Instead she had moved out of the way only to find comfort from her friend as her flank pressed against his. She did do the courteous action of giving the man full warning that by continuing to stay she could not promise what would happen. Judging by the growls and showing of teeth it wouldn't be good. Her message delivered she buried her face into his fur the rumble of his growls a reminder he had come to protect her.

Leotie felt stupid that she hadn't realized what was happening and out of all the lessons she'd had to learn...This one was the hardest. She knew if it hadn't been for Sven things could have been much worse. After such a stupid mistake she wasn't sure how she was supposed to look him in the eyes.

He took care of that too once Savion had left she felt muzzle under her chin and allowed her head to be lifted. Her blue eyes meeting his pale ones as he asked her if she was okay and if Savion had touched her. “I’m okay, he didn't...I'm sorry Sven,” she said quietly, “Thank you for being here.”

Sven Archer
She apologized, and he knew what for. Yet clearly she hadn't been aware of what was happening, otherwise she wouldn't have backpedaled so quickly after Sven had pulled off the rose-tinted filter Savion had placed. There was no trace of deceit within those watery blue eyes, he refused to believe that she was such a manipulative actor as to have covered for herself after witnessing the Archer's outrage. And so he could not blame her for what had happened, and certainly not for what almost occurred.

"You've got nothing to be sorry for," he assured her, gently bumping her muzzle with his to further incite confidence in what he was saying.

"You should stay home, until... this is over. Stay safe. There's too many wolves out there that will take advantage of you."

Wolves that would be much less easily deterred than Savion had been.

What could have happened, almost happened Leotie didn't want to imagine but she knew she had to face it. If she didn't then she wouldn't ever learn from it. She was grateful that Sven didn't make her explain her apology, that he just seemed to know. It was such a stupid thing she should have known better and yet she didn't, no one had explained it to her until Sven. As she looked into his eyes she felt that had something happened she worried what he would have thought of her, would he have hated her for if?

A small smile crossed her lips at his reassurance and bump to her muzzle. Leotie nodded, “Thank you for understanding,” she said brushing her muzzle across his to further show her appreciation.

She nodded when he told her she should stay home and safe until it was over. She didn't know how long it would be but she would stay where she was protected by her borders. “I will stay safe and I won't let anything like this happen again.” She understood now what had happened only moments before and what could have happened. She wouldn't be fooled again, Sven didn't need to go through what he had for her though she felt he would do it again for her.
