He watched the dark she-wolf shake and struggled not to wince. "Try rolling in the snow. It'll make it number for you, and probably slow down some of the bleeding..." He had to give himself a mental shake, she was in no shape to be left on her own but he wasn't one for forming connections unless there was something in it for him, and in her current state he doubted she had much to offer in the immediate future that would give him a reason to hang around... but that didn't mean he couldn't work on foundations...
<b>"I didn't realize I bled that baddly"</b> Reba giggled, looking at the snow with surprisement. Not even now she felt any need to worry about herself. Stupid girl. But she lacked the experienment of serious injuries. With her habbits, she would learn that pretty quickly, though.
Moving his amused eyes to the brute again, wagging her tail and giving a wide grin, looking partly innocent, partly more like devil. Basic Rebecca, aye.
It was a cougar, how could she expect to bleed any less? Valiant shook his head in disbelief. There was that itch again. He sat in the snow and scratched at his ruff causing his whole overly fluffy body to shake with the rhythm of his foot on his neck. He was unsure what to do from here. She was starting to calm down and he knew nothing of medicines. That grin though. It told him to stick around. But did he really want such a bundle of crazy? He had a one track mind but he also didn't want to have to piss off more cougars to keep her interested. Maybe it was a lost cause.
Wagging her tail Reba watched as the brute scratched himself. Ah, to her that didn't look like an good idea right now. Usually she loved it, but scratchng those wounds... Bleeding. More bleeding. Death, perhaps? Ooh, nice. Let's try it! Yeah, better to not. Sitting down in snow, shivering when Reba felt the pain in her back leg due the fold of her leg. Stupid wound.
Valiant ceased his scratching at her question, a small smile of his own crossing his handsome face. "I was told to wait. I don't like being told what to do." he said bluntly. "I met a wolf who spoke of forming a pack, but without the rules. I don't really want to be in a pack, but he got me interested... Thought I should come and check it out... and maybe meet some new wolves along the way." he added with another charming smile.
<b>"I see. Say, do you like causing trouble?"</b> she then asked, remembering how he had killes the cougar cub. She wanted to know to make sure she would know where to find danger from. If Valiant was going to cause troubles around, that would probably also mean danger. Though his personality was somethng she needed to know more about. Didn't like ot told what to do? Well, too bad, but in some point of life, you have to.
Another half smile. "No." he replied honestly, "But I do have a habit of finding myself in it..." He failed to mention the majority of the time it had been after spending a little too much time with the daughters of pack leaders, returning to their dens with his scent through their fur. He had developed a habit of moving as far away from pack lands as possible once he got what he was after. The only problem with that was his size, and lack of ability to move fast enough to be far enough away. He had often wondered how many of them had returned to find him gone the next day, how many had bore his pups, and what packs had allowed those pups to survive... and then he remembered he didn't care. He was free, and he wouldn't be caged readily.
Shaking his body painfully, then making herself ready to return home. Today's danger was gone and done now, time to concentrate getting healthy for the next dangerous situation. <b>"Well, then we will meet again. Bye!"</b> the crazy girl said to him with insane smile on her face, before trotting towards Copper Rock Creek. She would accelerate after some time, running over the hills and far away. Well, at least as far as her home... Which was not that far... But she wouldn't be able, nor it would be wise to run the whole way, so anyway. Heading to home.
