(Order: Eden | Shade | Athena)
Little stones rolled down, bounced from stone to stone till it disappeared in the grey hues. Eden who had watched the stone going under stood on a tiny ledge, following the path that seemed to lead downwards. For the big brown wolf was the ledge way to tiny. Balancing by every step he took, just to pass a few metres he needed more than 20 minutes in order to come back healthy and well. The rough rocky terrain was hard to walk upon, not needing to say that hunting was even harder. Without the rain giving him water for free he had to look in every hole, every slit. He ate leaves and bark to get enough liquid to spend the day with. This was the live of a loner, a loner who had to pass this unfriendly land. Unfriendly or not he did not complain. This was his own choice, there was nothing to complain about. Complaining wouldn't fill his stomach or moistened his sore throat. The only one who could do that was himself.
It seemed unbelievable that on a place like this, Eden could smell wolves. On the other hand, this place was remarkable good to defence. Those who did not know the terrain could easily broke a leg or trip and fall into the abyss. He could see some green, the trees and plants just randomly popped up out of the greys. Again his sea green eyes watched the deep ground beneath him. He wasn't wrong if he thought many had fell down into the pointy rocks. Eden swallowed his stocking breath, alright no time to ponder about this. He was only frightening himself, steady but slowly he walked further on the line of life and death.
As time passed his paws finally got more ground. Relieved, what he did not show on his face, did the wolf walk further. There was still a long road ahead but he planned to get at the more plane ground before the darkness would rise. He wanted to fill his stomach before he would sleep. Although he didn't look so bad if he compared himself to other rogues he had seen in life. Eden was still well fed, a bit hungry now after hours walking, jumping and climbing. Silently he walked further. Above his head he saw the raptors searching for a little meal. Focused on the birds he watched one attack not so far ahead. Fast he moved further to the place the bird had been.
It was not really easy to walk, his paws hurt by the sharp stones but he could bear it for a little while longer. The bird was already high in the sky but Eden wasn't out of stealing his prey. Instead he watched his surroundings. It may a little early for diner but he if he could get his paws on something it was better than waiting till the appropriate time. A small pattern, almost faded with the rocks got his attention. He lowered his body and began stalking the animal. His nose identified it as a snake. He knew the snake, however never saw him in real life. Curious but cautions he crawled closer. The snake had poison in his fangs but it would be a good meal. Poison was dangerous if you didn't know how to treat it, however that wasn't the case.
His body tensioned as he stay put. In a second he slashed at the snake. Getting him away from his stone in the open air. A fierce hiss came from it when it bared his fangs at him. A cruel yet enjoying smile was shown on his face. Without hesitation he came closer but still hold a safe distance. A snake could throw himself into the air in order to bite him. Like he was dancing, Eden moved around the snake with elegance. The snake attacked, out of instinct he dodged but putted his paw on the grey body. Another hiss. Now, he had to bite his head off! A sharp pain throbbed in his paw. Damn, two white fangs pierced through his flesh. With a furious bite Eden separated the head form it's body.
Careful he took the head with it's fangs out of his paw. The burning pain made him groan. He had prepared himself for a bite so he didn't lose his calm in the hunt. The wolf hopped to his meal, first things comes first. The poison wasn't deadly, otherwise he never would take such a risk. Before he could begin with his meal a other scent came into his reach. Damn, what now? It was a wolf not so far away. Eden stood up, showing he was willing to fight and not to back off.</blockquote>
