Rosealia could see the woman pedaling closer to their prey. Then, they both vanished in the blink of an eye. Her ears perked and she heard the screams of the doe; not far off. The fawn seemed to be scampering away with a confused trot. She turned her head to where the fawn came from and headed in that direction. She sprinted to the site where her hunting partner had nailed the sick deer. With no time to spare, she stumbled over to the rapidly struggling deer and sunk her bright white fangs into her neck. The bite must have inflicted a large amount of pain because the victim seemed to wince and slow down while the small woman tasted the metallic blood on her mouth.

It was almost sensational, the feel of the blood that stopped pumping. The heartbeat ceasing immediately, while the creature became a corpse and a meal. Satisfyingly, Rosealia released the doe's neck. She panted and shook her fur, looking at Navar questioningly. Was Navar going to become protective over the meat that she earned fair and square and staring shooing the Rose away? After all, now that the mission is accomplished, it was less than likely that they would remain friends under the same circumstances. Navar was hungry, and Rose sure wasn't. But a meal to fatten her pack up would be nice.

With yellow orbs glinting dangerously, she waited for the female to make a move.

Navar Notie
It only took a few moments for Navar's hunting partner to find the two bodies fighting each other. Although Navar's grip was sure, she needed the extra set of teeth Rosealia possessed. After what seemed like an eternity the woman sank her teeth into the flesh of the doe and Navar took a moment to release her kill and take a few breaths. Her fur stood on end in complete excitement, her breath came in heaves, and she licked the warm blood from her muzzle. It had been months since she felt the deadening heart throb of a large kill in her jaws and its rythem seemed to match her own. With a quick toss of her coat as well she could feel the saliva starting to build in her mouth.

Amber eyes grazed over the kill for a second, then to Rose, and then back. Her hunting partner stared at her almost questioningly and it was probably a good thing to be cautious. The hunger within herself wrenched at her guts and she fought to hold back the instinctive growl. This was her first time hunting with someone outside of her own band of wolves. As she felt her intensity rising, she looked back to Rose, realizing that to act this way would be foolish. Swallowing the collective saliva and her emotions she looked to her reassuringly.

<b>"Thank you."</b> was all she managed to say before eagerly plunging her teeth into the warm flesh. The muscle and skin proving to be no match against her powerful jaws. Swiftly she moved to the rear flank of the doe and continued to gorge herself. Only once she stopped to breathe, looking over at Rose with blood staining nearly her whole face, and she spoke.<b>"Not many wolves would have done this. You are very kind, Rose. I won't forget it.."</b>

<blockquote><font style='margin-left:20px;'>Although</font> the woman seemed to be contemplating herself, she seemed to <span class='word'>moor</span> her eyes onto Rosealia hesitantly for the longest time. She perked her ears with Navar's surprising words of decision. <span style='font-family:georgia'><i><b>"Thank you.Not many wolves would have done this. You are very kind, Rose. I won't forget it.."</b></i></span> Warmth grew inside of her as she knew that Navar was right. Not many other wolves would have offered help to a complete stranger. Honey glazed her soft yellow orbs as she smiled and dipped her head.
<font style='margin-left:20px;'>Slowly, the woman</font> crept over to the elk and showed submission to the cream she-wolf before her. She needed to take something back to her pack. Her eyes looked up at Navar, but as if she was alpha, they were averted respectfully. Her tail was between her creamy brown legs, and she blinked at the other wolf. She hoped Navar would understand that this was technically her prey, and that Rose didn't have ownership of this elk anymore. But at the same time, her pack would be suspicious if she had nothing to show. Her thoughts were haunted with images of Elettra glaring at her with the utmost suspicion. She didn't want that.</blockquote>

Navar Notie
A deep warm growl emitted from within Navar. It was a combination of the sudden feeling of regurgitation and pure happiness from the unexpected and wholeheartedly welcomed meal that she had obtained. As she continued to feed herself she did little to notice that the female who helped her kill the deer had yet to even touch it. Supposing she wasn't hungry herself Navar continued to gorge herself. It wasn't until she saw Rose approaching in a slow manner, eyes adverted, with her tail tucked that she had remembered what Rose said before. This was a partial kill for her pack. Even though Navar lacked the knowledge of how a pack worked within itself she could guess that they wouldn't be happy if the lady came home empty handed.

The thought of her old first-come-first-serve ways made her feel like more of a vulture and she clenched her jaws around a small spinal vertebrae and nearly broke it in half. Amber eyes locked on Rose as she came closer to the deer, and once again Navar fought the urge to send her backwards with a spitting snarl. When would she have another meal like this? Nearly a year as a scavenging loner had started to turn her to a savage. With a sudden realization she swallowed what was left within her jowls and took a moment to sit back, her stomach awkwardly round and grotesquely heavy with raw meat. Navar had nearly stripped the back half of the deer to the bone, leaving nothing but blood stained earth. She turned to Rose, keeping her tone well controlled.

<b>"I hope we meet again, Rose."</b> was all she said before reaching down to pick up the bottom half of the deer's back leg that she had managed to gnaw loose.

As quickly as she could she stole back in the direction from which she had come to silently and peacefully enjoy her claimed remains. Before slipping into the thicket she turned and caught sight of Rose once more and paused in silent thankfulness then disappeared like a white ghost.
