Willow Ridge The One That Got Away

Shade's eyes looked down at his paws, what more was there to say? He had tried to find a healer, but he hadn't been able to find the pack, he couldn't lead Koda up the mountains, it was too dangerous and he didn't want to leave his leaders side. "I was unable to find a healer in Poison Path." He admitted, he'd met the leader once, she said something about a healer, but he couldn't find who she'd talked about. He listened as Elettra spoke about remy and how she was no longer in willow ridge. by the sounds of it she would never again be welcomed.

"I will make sure to treat her as a loner when or if she dares to show her face at Willow Ridge borders." He said to that, he was a Guardian. Was he a head guardian now? He wasn't sure, but he had to do his best. He was not a kibitzer so he would say nothing more on the matter of the Guardian now gone or anyone else. He waited once again for Elettra to speak and perhaps dismiss him. He was still underneath her, he was the second, if Koda was unable to lead he would need to step up, but he wasn't looking to lead, he hoped Koda would be okay.

His tail was still underneath him, it was his leader after all. He was nervous, his muzzle still hurting from her attack. He waited, he was worried. What will become of Koda?

The name of the Pack within the Heights became more clear to her by Shade's words, pulling at her memory and of the one wolf she had formerly met whom had resided within. Unknowing, was the man no longer there and not only this, but a new pack had been formed within the mountains, though north within the Dire. Even still, was wonder if Nina's pack creation would be successful, though too much was happening within her own lands to worry and wonder over anything else at the moment. All her focus was on Willow Ridge and this alone, making all work and no play ending in a dull Elettra.
His words of Remy was met with hidden tension, to have to think so of a wolf whom stood once as her second, backing her and everything she did, protecting her from any whom opposed. Would Skana treat her in this same manner? Perhaps she held not the youth and might to which Remy held, yet Skana had proven enough worth as her Advisor to insure Elettra she would do all she could in holding the position of Second true. Having nothing else to say on the manner, Elettra steps away from Shade, jutting her muzzle off into the direction of the mountain face. "You best be off." She spoke, beckoning him to search and send word to Nina as quickly as possible.

Shade nodded to Elettra as she told him to be off. Thanking the gods and those residing in the stars for not making her bite his nuque and kill him. He preferred to stay alive to serve the Willows. He hoped this pack to be his only pack to live in, and for him to not have to sacrifice himself to another pack. But he never knew how anything played out anymore. He gave her a lick on the chin and ran off. He went into the night to find the missing one. The missing alpha. He let out a howl to spread through the willows. He called two simple words to as far as everyone could hear. 'Find Koda'. That was all, that was all he could say, all he had to say.

The moon above him gave him a sad glance, it was not as full as it had been about 2 weeks ago, as if it knew that the times were changing. That darkness had fallen upon them. They're 'loyal' head guardian, former at least Remy, left them and they're alpha was injured in the brain. What had happened to the wolves of Willow Ridge? Were they destined for doom or darkness. He started towards Secluded Spring to see Nina and deliver the message. He'd head to the Heartleaf Creek first to go and rest for a bit.

He had his tail curled up against his back as he ran, he was far enough away so Elettra couldn't see him and his howl had ended. Now to find Koda and bring him home to where he belonged. He was a Ridge wolf and that's how it was. But when breeding season came, if Koda had his memory back, where would his pups be, with Nina or with the Willow Ridge wolves.
