He had made a promise and was going to stick to it. He had been lingering around this area waiting for the Miss K'arnae he had met on the mountain top. James could remember her clearly. Short words, big build, pretty in a weird sort of way. Chuckling to himself he set out on a stroll. It was a farily nice day. Not to cold and not to hot. Just right. Although the trees blocked out pretty much all of the sun he could catch a glimpse of it here and there.
Trotting along a beaten down path he stoped here and there to examine the area better. Checking the place for possible dens and where prey may be hiding. Although he wasn't to lucky to stumble across any prey he could see tracks through some of the thicker parts of the woods. Perhaps on another day he would take the time to track and hunt. Today though, he was on a mission. To learn the land. If he was going to be doing some adventuring he needed to be sure he wouldn't get lost. Being lost meant no real protection from anything. That was unless he made where he was lost his new home. But James knew better than to just randomly start a home up somewhere. It would be safer to join an already pack. Or even just travel with one or two other wolves. Which was why he was looking forward to seeing Miss K'arnae again.
