Jynx Myrddin
Patiently, she waited for Nineteen to deliver his final verdict. She couldn't be sure if she would be welcomed warmly into the pack, where she could grow and learn, or would be turned away, forced to try her luck elsewhere. Either way, it made her anxious. The mere thought of a new start in a pack made her stomach turn a little. Would she be too awkward, too out of place? Before the ghostly male could even get another word in, the sound of approaching footsteps made her ears perk up. The familiar black form of Karpos, who she had taken a liking to, slid up beside Nineteen, apparently happy to see her, and for good reason. She gathered up her legs under her, creeping forward while still maintaining a completely submissive stance. Her tail began beating a mile a minute behind her enthusiastically. "Karpos! It's wonderful to see you again!" She beamed up at him. She had known the moment that he had told her about Cut Rock River, that this was the pack for her. Having a friendly face there only made it all the more appealing. She stole a glance between the white and dark males, trying to search for any sign of resemblance. So Lachesis was his Uncle, huh? Of course, she had no idea that they weren't related. Now all she could hope for was to get on the spindly males good side just as easily as she had with Karpos. Nodding, she murmured. "Yes. He's been very patient while I've explained why I want to join." Came her humble words. Jynx had been taught to always mind her manners, but deep down, she had a hidden feisty streak that not many would suspect. Drawing in a steady breath, she watched with hopeful eyes as Lachesis asked Karpos if he thought she would be worthy of joining the pack. A small part of her wondered what he'd say. But that was just her anxiety kicking in. She liked to think that their first encounter back at the falls had gone well enough for the male to see some good qualities in her.

All she could do was remain silent as the two conversed, exchanging opinions. And, as she had hoped, Karpos had nothing but support for her. A small smile touched her lips...he had been the one who had so heavily influenced her decision to consider Cut Rock River after all. Anything they asked of her, she would gladly oblique, without a second thought. Yes, she was here to work, to put herself to use. But she was also here to make connections, and life long lasting friendships. That was a piece of the puzzle that had long since been missing in her life, and now it was almost ready to slip neatly into place.

Lachesis "XIX" Stark
Finally done! If you guys want to post exit posts go ahead, otherwise just archive this! <3 @Karpos @Jynx

A lop-sided grin fell onto his dark lips at his raven-coloured nephew’s response. XIX did not expect the yearling to answer any differently – it was apparent that he cared for the russet stranger, and was incredibly excited to see that she had taken his advice. The female’s responses had reminded him of his own when he and Anastasia had decided to join Karpos’ father’s pack. She had the essential skills that they needed – adopting a role within the pack could come later. It had taken XIX many months before deciding he should pursue the role of healer. From the passion that fueled her voice Lachesis knew that Jynx would be an asset to them; she embodied what Cut Rock was looking for, so there was no reason to delay the acceptance any further.

“Welcome to Cut Rock River, Jynx,” he responded after a brief pause, his pear-coloured eyes falling onto the russet female for a moment before falling onto his dark nephew once more. “Karpos, I’m sure you won’t mind showing our new packmate around?” The answer was obvious, but XIX wanted to the see the excitement on the Slayer child’s face. His attention returned to Jynx once more: “If you have any questions Jynx do not hesitate to ask myself or Karpos. I know you will fit in perfectly with the pack.” With a soft nod of his head the long-legged leader gave his nephew an affectionate nudge to the shoulder before he turned back into pack territory, his long tail waving behind him. He was excited not only for the pack, but for Karpos as well – the troubled yearling needed another close to his age to converse with. He was surrounded by puppies and older wolves, and while he had his sister, he needed someone else. The interaction between the pair reminded XIX of himself and Capella – he just hoped it would not end the same way.

Jynx Myrddin
A soft, grateful smile fell onto her lips, as Lachesis finally confirmed her acceptance into Cut Rock River. Rising to her paws again, but still holding her body a few inches lower than his own, her bushy tail sliced through the air excitedly. "Thank you, sir. I promise I won't disappoint you or anyone else." Even though these two wolves were the only members of the River she had met so far, Jynx was already feeling warmly welcomed. She watched with bright yellow eyes as the pale Leader turned back, after appointing Karpos as her official escort.

After a moment, she turned to her dark friend, coming up along his right to brush her shoulder against his. Russet and dark, brown tinted fur mingled, the scent of the River wolves transferring from his coat to her own. "I'm curious to see what the territory is like. I hope there won't be too much to memorize." She joked, with a good natured grin. With Karpos at her side, showing her every nook and cranny to be found among the Cedar trees, Jynx was sure to become well acquainted with her new home in time. After all, she thought of him to be a very informative, knowledgeable sort of wolf, so she knew she was well off. "Well, let's get going. Lead the way!" Excitedly she pawed at a leg, encouraging him to get this show on the road.

Karpos Slayer

Welcome. That was the answer he had been hoping for and as usual, his uncle did not fail to deliver. The boy grinned, his eyes flashing to his uncle a grateful look before he rushed to Jynx's side although he did not move too close to her because he knew better than to encroach on her space. He grinned goofishly as his uncle turned and left the scene. "Don't worry, there isn't too much to memorize! But oh where to start." His words contradicted themselves in all honesty but he didn't pick up on it. "There is the river, then the pack den, then my uncle's herb den then the borders." He thought about all of the possibilities aloud before taking off, calling for Jynx to follow after him. It was the start of a new friendship and a new bond that would hopefully last a lifetime.
