Senka Flint allow me this moment of bliss so I may begin to miss the torment Florence, her brother Florence who had been so confused by her appearance and angry at first but had been calmed down and subdued. It seemed almost surreal, when she thought about it later. To have meet and seen one of her siblings, that she had not seen grow but had known existed, was strange. Senka was splayed near her own private den, near the main communal den, not caring for the cold that was nipping at her skin as she lay out in the open. Her thick coat took care of most of the sharp cold and the rest wasn't noticed as she was lost in thought. As of yet, Florence and his friend, along with the leader Minka, were the only wolves she had meet out of the pack. She knew there were more but she had not yet been bothered to seek them all out and introduce herself. However, there was a curiosity for the faint scent of another wolf on Florence's coat, one that could be smelt still over the scent of the Black Thorn Downs. It had made Senka wonder just who it was that had cemented their scent on her brother's pelt so strongly, not even the scent of a pack could cover it. One that lingered, even if they hadn't been together for some time. A mate perhaps, or one who was very close to Florence regardless? He had made mention of a female he had come to the pack with, one who he was close to. His eyes had shone slightly when speaking of her, the boy clearly enamored with her. So was it her that she could smell on his coat? Huffing as the questions pelted her mind, the red huntress rolled onto her long legs and decided she'd try and find out just who that wolf was. The scent of the wolf was easy to follow, even in the snow. Yet it wasn't her nose that failed her but her eyes, who could barely pick out the pale coat of the female against the paleness of the fluffy ice, weaving in and out of some bushes near the boundary, clearly just doing a patrol. Senka let out a whuff of greeting, trudging along in the snow slowly towards her before coming to a stop not far away. She wasn't in a rush and didn't wish to scare the woman at all. So she waited and tried to remember her name. @Vera wasn't it? |
