Vera's tail swished back and forth, her creamy ears pricked forward curiously as she waited for the larger russet female to speak. Nodding when she answered of only being a part of Black Thorn Downs for just a few weeks she smiled, thinking back to when Florence and her had joined. It had been about a month and a half since then, enough time to familiarize herself with the territory, but she hadn't met many wolves. If she was more outgoing meeting the rest of the pack would have been easy, but she wasn't very sociable. Being around others was hard for her, and it seemed Senka was the same.
"I've been a pack member for roughly a month and a half, give or take a few days." Thinking back to what Senka said about being a hunter, she smiled ruefully. Though she could hunt small prey, taking on anything larger than her, which was practically everything, was almost impossible without help. "You're a hunter? Are you any good? I admit to being okay, but as you can tell, it's hard for me to catch anything larger than a hare. I'm more of a scout, but others say I'd be a good guardian." She wasn't beforetime known as a scout or guardian but she was working on it. It was also a god thing to mention that she wasn't all bark and no bite, or vice versa, her bark and bite were about the same, it just depended on the situation.
Curiously looking at Senka, the Diminutive Ivory She-wolf thought about her question. Being in love was... many things. It was hard to pinpoint it to one feeling, and she had no idea how to explain it to the wolf before her. "I'm not really sure how to explain this properly, but to me, love is like feeling safe all the time. You don't have to constantly watch your back because the one you love is looking out for you. It also makes me feel... happy, content, without a care in the world, especially when we're together." Brows furrowing slightly, Vera stopped talking, unsure of what she was really saying, and if Senka was taking any in. Love was a difficult topic to talk about.
