About Broken Timber Pines.

A demanding and tense winter led to the creation of Broken Timber Pines and the start of animosity as old loyalties are severed. In mid-March of 2015, current alpha Koda and long-time second Iopah bred, incurring the wrath of Nina. They were deemed traitors and immediately cast from the Thickets, a decision that Nina's own son disagreed with. Silentium left with them and the three ex-Secret Woodland wolves fled over the Mountain of Dire, becoming the first members in the forming pack.

The trio follows the mountain range, searching for land to claim as their own, and find Inkheart and Zia instead. The expecting pair is in the much the same situation as them; having faith, but no one to place it in. They join forces and the three wolves become five. At the tail-end of a rainstorm the group arrives in Secret Falls and awakens the next day to a healing forest and the first clear day in nearly a week. The forest is claimed and the males mark the borders while the women search for birthing dens. Sixty-three days after the event that set everything in motion, Ember and Bracken are born. Two weeks later Zia gives birth to Arion, the pack's only son.

Life is quiet and the pack continues to grow. They are joined by Valeria, an earnest yearling, and rejoined by Camio and Nova along with their daughter, Nalda. The peace is set aside when Hearthwood River wolves Kjors and Naia come to the borders, under the guise of "Bennet" and "Sprite". A fight breaks out and the pair is quickly sent packing.

Pack pride colors for Broken Timber Pines are "Timber Heart Tan (#A3770F)" and "Cloudless Sky Blue (#ADCFD8)."

General Information

  • Established: May 12th, 2015
  • Location: Broken Timber Pines, Secret Falls, Vale of Secrets, Relic Lore
  • Den Description: The grove is bordered by the treacherous Secret Falls on one side and the imposing Mountain of Dire on the other. Partway between them, after the slopes give way and before the crash of the water drowns all sound, is a home for those willing to stand up for it. The streams that meander towards the falls are peaceful now, but the land tells a story otherwise. Huge fallen trees lie in every direction. In some places they have toppled like dominoes, allowing rain and precious sunlight to reach every inch of the forest. A few red-cedar still stand proud, while quick-growing alder and salmonberry have started filling in the undergrowth.
  • Pack Scent Identifiers: Resinous red-cedar needles, earthy smell of decaying fallen trees, sharp tang of salmonberry in summer/autumn.

  • Pack Colors: #A3770F & #ADCFD8

Notes & Trivia.

  • A splinter group of Secret Woodlands that has a very bad relationship with their parent pack, despite the longevity of the founding leaders' time served there.
