Bane
It would seem that after the announcement that Nina would no longer be leader of the pack, there was little else to say. A brief mentioning of Miccah's part that Gent, Leader of the Crest, was on neutral terms with them. Bane was very aware of this pack unlike some of the newer members, having been a member of the pack once before himself. Neutral terms was better then enemies, as they once had been, though with Gent at full swing of things, Bane could only wonder how things were holding up with Kova.... after all, loosing a parent was hard enough, but both. Bane could surely sympathize. His orange gaze glanced once more then to Miccah. Remembering how he had come to these lands in search of Bane's moth, his lover, and now he stood here with another. It was something beyond Bane's comprehension. He could not imagine ever finding a replacement should the love of his life disappear from his life.

At those last thoughts, he turned back down to Inali as the meeting came to a closing. After a few moments of settling together and watching as more and more of the group left them behind, Inali then too lifted from her placement. After a whisper if he would like to join her for a stroll, he nods silently. Lifting with a stretch of his long, lean legs, the young man prances off after her. ""

The rest of the pack reacted similarly to the news, soft smiles and agreeing nods all around. Aideen's heart fluttered slightly, joy and relief filling her as she looked out at her pack. She saw some confusion, mostly on the younger faces, but most of it quickly veined in favor of acceptance. Inali and Bane especially caught her attention, exchanging glances and gentle touches while taking in the news. A soft smile curved the rust-pelted queen's lips as she watched, a light nod given to the similar woman as their eyes met. Then Miccah stepped forwards, his dark form towering over the group, easily drawing everyone's attention. Aideen smiled up at her husband, knowing what strong feelings lay behind his light expression of happiness, her slowly wagging tail brushing against his side as he continued to speak. Russet ears remained attentively perked, her full focus on his carefully chosen words; Though it wasn't complete news to her, she was taking her cue on Round Stone Crest from him, as he had been dealing with them for a while now.

Once that last direction had been delivered, the king absolved the meeting, prompting an agreeing nod from his mate; Not much else to say… Quickly the wolves began to depart, the youngest first, Rose running off almost instantly, quickly followed by her brother, as Miccah himself turned to leave, no doubt heading back to his broken patrol. Aideen returned his quick caress, nipping at his cheek fur before pulling back to let him pass. Then her eyes swept back over the pack, noting Belladonna taking her leave with Duckweed in tow, before settling on Nina, a gentle smile offered at the former queen. The matriarch seemed happy with the proceedings, in fact it was almost as if a visible weight had been lifted from her shoulders with the passing of leadership, and this made Aideen even more pleased. She briefly caught that single, bright eye, bowing her head to the woman who had taught her everything she valued, while the responsibility and final say was now with the younger wolf, she would never lose respect for the founder of the Woodlands.

Then Nina too disappeared into the thickets, like the others surely with a plan for the rest of her day in mind. Aideen meanwhile remained where she was, still in the process of settling her nerves, copper gaze following her remaining pack mates as they each went their own way. Bane and Inali were the last to go, together, she noted with another snicker, and then she was alone, sitting atop the small knoll before an empty clearing that symbolized the most important things in her life. A light sigh fell from her lips before she too rose, trotting back to her infirmary, to continue her day like the rest of her pack.
