Amaryllis Azalea
Deacon was the first to react to her order and for that, Amaryllis was grateful. Though she had tended to his head wound and had gotten to know him somewhat over the few days, she wasn't sure how dare he would react in such a situation. But he appeared to take it on with ease, standing as if to defend them then offering to go to the medical cache if someone was willing to go with him.

Dipping her head towards both him and Nineva when she arrived and declare to go with him, she went to turn back towards Pip but the silent girl was already scrambling over the snowdrift, as if she was escaping from what was happening. And she couldn't blame her yet panic and fear for her overwhelmed Amaryllis. With a quick glance at Oula and Ophelia showed that the mother was already moving in to discipline her child, Amaryllis came to a decision.

"Deacon, Nineva, follow Pip's trail once you've come back from the medical den!" She called out to them, hoping they heard as her heart beating in her chest as she made her way frantically after Pip. However, the woman caught what Ophelia had said however and instantly, though her worry for Pip was still strong, she remembered how the pup had also treated Pip at the take down of the moose and swung around to face Ophelia. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Tomen also scramble after Pip. Tomen would look after her for now.

Her mind was reminding her that she knew Ophelia was Oula's blood and her child so somewhere deep in her mind, it was telling her to leave it and allow Oula to take care of her. But her words cut at Amaryllis's heart and it made her tremble in anger as she stomped towards them. This was beyond just a child lashing out against her parents. This was a packmate, a pup even, attacking another for no apparent reason.

"And you think that she deserves such treatment from you or anyone else in the pack?” She hissed at Ophelia, trying to keep her anger in check but it still leaked out a little. “Excuse my butting in Oula but your mother is correct and your behavior has gone on long enough Ophelia. I understand your mother’s leaving must have hurt you but that doesn’t excuse what you did to Pip. She’s a valued member, just like everyone else in the pack. Just because she has no voice doesn’t mean she’s worthless or weak! She helped save you from the moose didn’t she?”

With her opinion out in the air, worry for Pip was forefront in her mind again so Amaryllis spun on her back paws and dashed after Pip and Tomen. Though the wound wasn’t life threatening, it still worried her. Not to mention Pip’s mental state worried her even more. She followed the trail and nearly bumped into a frozen Tomen, who was just staring. Following his eyesight, she saw Pip's form curled up in the roots of a tree.

"Pip," She whispered softly, stepping towards the girl and forcing her posture to take on a more relaxed posture because she felt it might help Pip feel better. "Pip, come on out please?"

Ophelia Macieo

Not once in Ophelia's life has she ever been so thoroughly struck dumb. Her mother was by far the disciplinarian and since her departure, none of the pups had anyone truly willing to give them that hard-toothed direction. While Joannie and Felix hardly needed it at all, Ophelia had learned it was perfectly fine to run rampant and do as she pleased. Oula's harsh words cut through to some sense and the pup had the wherewithal to look properly cowed.

Tearfully, she dropped her head, shoulders drooping, and tail hanging low. Mama was right. She was being horribly cruel. And in her heart, she knew Pip did nothing to deserve her animosity. She was simply a convenient target.

It almost hurt more to have Auntie Lily's disappointment as well. The Second was the one who would play games with her as a pup above all the others and teach her words and new things. And she was right. Pip had saved her and Felix from that angry moose. With the princess's anger thoroughly drained, sorrow - for herself and what she'd done - replaced the feeling and left her feeling so very empty. If Joannie had seen any of that...she would have been horrified. And for all that Ophie loved needling her bigger sister, she loved her approval more. Not that it was something she would ever admit to... Sisters were supposed to fight.

"I'm sorry," she managed with a hiccup, crawling forward to rest at her mother's paws as if she may earn forgiveness that way. "I'm sorry."

Deacon
It was with great pleasure he accepted Nineva's company but he didn't say anything. He took off as fast as he could knowing she would catch up with him. The medical den grew closer by the second but he also knew that meant Pip was suffering more by the minute. Once they reached the den he quickly jumped in and grabbed what he was familiar with and what might do good. Some things Ama had used on him after he hit his head Lavender Hyssop, a pretty looking flower. Ergot, some funky thing he wasn't quite sure he knew how to describe. He merely had fate in knowing it thanks to his own mishaps. Setting them carefully between his paws he looked to @Nineva. "Grab what you think is best, I got some Lavender Hyssop and Ergot." He waited momentarily with the plants carefully in his mouth before he turned to head back to the scene. Deacon remembered that Amaryllis told them to go after Pip's trail.

He passed through the flurry of scoldings that were for Ophelia. Deacon already snapped at her earlier so there was no use sticking his head in again. He followed the trail and slipped a few times. Hind legs wet from cold water and snow but he held his head up high. He couldn't risk another injury nor could he risk the plants getting damaged. Coming upon the scene he stayed back respectfully. A nod was given to Tomen as Deacon set down the plants closer to them then packed up. "I brought Laven Hyssop and Ergot. I'll stay out of the way and let you healers do your thing." He swallowed a massive lump, his pride, before he offered a nod to everyone at the scene who was still gathered.

Oula Whitebark
Oula sighed, her shoulders slumping slightly like air let out of an overfilled balloon. She leaned down, leaving small licks on the apologetic girl's head. She was still upset, but Ophelia was still her daughter.

Nineva Hervok
Nineva, while no runner like Tomen, was still able to keep up with Deacon. She did have to wonder where his urgency stemmed from, for Pip was in no way gravely injured. Perhaps he just wanted to get back to the action as she did. It bothered her that she didn't have the whole story yet, and that more could be unfolding as they were gone that she wouldn't see or be able to react to. While she was far from being Ophelia's mother or a leadership figure in the pack, it was in her nature to take control and fix all the same.

When they reached the infirmary and its medical cache, Deacon's choice to command seemed to confirm that perhaps he did share the same instinctual direction as she did. Something about taking the order from him bothered her, but it was a microscopic pinprick at the back of her mind at the moment, and so she did as she was told without a word. At a later time, she would be free to wonder on the Archer-Lyall's natural eminence.

It wasn't until they were on the return trip that she lagged behind him, eyes and ears drawn to what was occurring with Ophelia. She missed what the girl had said in her defense, but gathered enough from Oula and Amaryllis' retorts. It all seemed to get through to her, and the child was reduced to tears as she apologized. There was nothing right about the way she had reacted, and Nineva was thankful to see that she understood the gravity and wrongness of what she had done. Still, her heart went out to her, and she knew then that she would want to connect later with Ophelia about the situation.

Do believe that @Nineva was gonna wrap this up and finish it off for us. kinda crap idk what dea is doin'

She had lagged behind him and he kept watching out for her. Perhaps he was being overly worried or flat out rude but he eyed her before speaking. "Come on Nin. We're almost there." She was probably gonna bite his face or run him over like a bulldozer. He knew she was making just fine time but he didn't wanna risk it. Ophelia had been so bratty and ripped into Pip like she was some meal. Deacon knew children could be unruly, he had certainly been, but he didn't know they could be Satan Spawn. Literally. Veho seemed nothing like that kind of man and neither did Oula so where the hell had such a temper come from?

He decided he needed to really go, though. Make room for everyone to disperse and figure their shit out. Not once did he ever imagine he'd wake up to a morning like this. He needed a break and needed one badly. He took off into the forest. Perhaps he would nap out there where unruly children didn't try to eat mutes and where a certain somebody thought he was in the wrong for giving discipline that was oh-so-obviously needed. Maybe once things blew over he'd chat with someone close to the child and find out what exactly the issue was. He was interested in knowing what had caused the ticking time bomb and what caused it to go off.

Nineva Hervok
thanks so much becca <3

She didn't realize that she had fully stopped to watch everything finish unfolding until Deacon's voice reached her ears. Jaws now empty of the medicinal frondescences he had been carrying, it was obvious that he'd already made it to Pip and back. Whoops. Nineva nodded briskly and took a few quick strides forward, until she realized that he was still heading in the opposite direction. She watched him go, slightly curious as to why he wasn't sticking around to see this all out.

There was certainly a lot she hadn't figured out about the man yet. That needed to be remedied. But not now, she reminded herself. Let the parent deal with the naughty little elf, you've got an injured pack mate to tend to.

Dashing through the snow, she was off at a rush and didn't slow down until she had finally gotten tracked down Pip and her following. It was easy to get to them, many tracks now guiding the way. What had made the mute run? Nineva would probably never understand the mindset of a wolf that was so submissive. At least she hadn't hidden away completely, though. Tromping onto the scene, she took a deep breath before making her presence known...
