The girl looked up at him with teary orange eyes, her breathing still hitching and stuttered, even if she wasn't quite as hysterical as before. Why would he be willing to do something like that for someone he'd only just met? She couldn't imagine a reason, or a motive, that he could have, other than simply the fact that he was a good wolf. An odd, interesting, good-hearted wolf. She was going to argue against him pretending to be the father - why should he have to suffer for her mistakes? - but the resolve with which he stated those words, and the kindness in his gestures, made the words die on her tongue. The ghostly wolf nodded her head and straightened up a bit. "If... if you're okay with that..." she mumbled, casting her gaze to the side before looking back up at him. "I couldn't imagine anyone doing anything kinder. So... thank you." She licked his muzzle gently. She desperately needed the help, and perhaps Namid would be more forgiving if the "father" of the pups would join the pack to help them out, rather than just Eido dragging herself back up the mountain and begging for forgiveness on her own. Besides, he was right. @Namid was a kind, generous wolf. Perhaps this wouldn't be so bad, after all. { fade }
