He was able to do a little more hunting and it was nice having the fresher meat but he still searched out carcasses for the extra meat when he found find them. He now felt he could spend some time looking for his brother now that he was in better condition. Tikhon hoped he would find Lorcan soon, the sooner the better. His journey from Umbra Copse had taken him further than he had expected where he soon found himself back on the mountain. This time it seemed different, like the whole landscape had changed. Of course the snow was gone as spring had arrived but it also didn't seem as desolate as it once had. Feeling a little better himself he didn't mind being back on the mountain so much. It was the scent of water which drew him further until he came to a lake that seemed a little secluded. As he surveyed the area he felt it would be a good place to rest up for a day or two. Maybe he could even catch himself a fish with the little strength he'd built back up. His thirst was what was on his mind at that moment so he made his way to the water's edge to lap at the cool liquid.
