She wanted her daughter to learn the what she needed to know early. There would be no excuse for her daughter to not pull her weight in the pack. The Ebony Baranski still believe that she and Oksana wouldn't be a burden to Hearthwood. It was about more than that though, she wanted her daughter to have all the skills she would need to be successful in life.
She didn't have Oksana with her as she ran through her first patrol of the morning choosing to leave her sleeping. Inna would wake her when she returned so they could have some mother daughter time.
However, a scent caught the Ravens attention and she followed it. It had been awhile since she had really spoken with Mace and it was time she caught up with him. She was curious as to how he was settling into life in Hearthwood. She soon caught up to him, “Mace,” she called out to get his attention.
