As her son grew, so did her own personal time. Cyril was still under her watchful eye but his boundaries were expanding. She trusted everyone within Whitestone Monadnock to stay watchful and keep him in line if she wasn't there to do so herself. So it should have come as no surprise when she unfolded herself from her family before she slipped out into the dawn. She padded along the rough earth of the Monadnock with more grace than when she first started living here. It became more of a muscle memory to her paws of how to escalate and move amongst the prickly grasses and stones.
Piety only slowed her pace when she came to the lake. Having such a nice water source here made it almost unnecessary to wander out into the lowlands in search of a drink or swim. The pale leader waded into the shallow water and welcomed its cool touch against her fur and skin. Her head lowered to soothe the morning thirst that had gotten to her. When she raised her head back up, brown eyes examined the lands with ease. She had felt more at ease with everything lately and she had to wonder if it was due to the return of Odin. He had brought news with him of Morganna which had certainly done wonders to seal up any worried patches in her heart. The female Archer was okay in Torbine with her large litter. Piety still smirked when thinking about that many children running about. She would have welcomed having such a large family with Wraith but she was just as happy with their one son.
The Kael female slowly removed herself from the water. She looked around for a stray stone that was low enough to climb onto. They always made the best perching spots and allowed her to survey the land that laid below the heights of the Monadnock's top.
