It seemed the other animals in the forest we're also taking advantage of the clear night. Their calls weren't allowing him the chance to get the rest he needed. Each time he would close his eyes they would start back up again before going quiet. There was one point he was just in the verge of falling asleep when they started seeming louder than before. It felt like they were watching him and when they thought he was going to sleep they would prevent him from doing so.
