Pack life this time around seemed to be suiting her much better than it had last time. She had more if a desire to fit in and get to know the rest of her packmates. As long as she could visit her cousin she felt that she had finally found a home. While it wasn't Bella Coola nor was it by the water the other wolves were nice and she had Ishtar. She felt like she had finally found her place in the world and no longer had to move around aimlessly searching for something she now realized she would probably never find.
The sea wolf was content and all that she could do now was improve on what she had which was what brought the tasks Emrys had set her to mind. She'd been out traveling the land and meeting other wolves but she was sure there was more to this scouting thing than just that. Her sense of direction had certainly improved which helped her find her way home but what other places where there to explore and learn?
Those thoughts went through her mind as she followed the trail that she'd stumbled across only a short time ago. It seemed fresh and so she felt it might be worth it to see if it lead her to the rabbit so that she might bring it home. With three pups to feed they certainly could use the meat even if it only fed one pup. So on she went so busy following the trail she didn't notice another wolf not far from where she was.
