Ravenna Archer-Lyall
This thread is intended for any and all WR and AH members as to solidify their alliance in a pack hunt together. Not everyone has to hunt, some may settle on the sidelines and/or watch the pups. It's up to you!
@Sven, @Nicolò, @Lorcan, @Odin, @Blitz, @Leotie, @Lilith, @Kip, @Adeltra, @Romanov, @Greer, @Elias, @Pyriel, @Summiter, @Kyna, @Revon, @Abaddon, @Attica, @Ember.

Ravenna had been watching the bull for nearly a month now, surely some others of her pack and perhaps the Heights wolves had as well, had noticed the lone moose wondering the edges of their territories. She had first seen him within the Drooping Willows, reaches out for the leaves under one of the various weeping trees. Then again she had seen him near a creek towards the meadow and now this was the second time around she found him in the Rise. Never before had Ravenna tasted moose, had never hunted it and had waited for the right opportunity to strike. Such large prey was surely a risk but if her pack and her brother's worked together it was a prize which would benefit them all throughout this winter.

She had been trailing him for hours now as he moved east, into the heart of the Rise and towards the Heights. By now it was early morning, the still and silent lands finally waking for a new winter day. The bull was just as large as ever. Nearly six feet tall, one thousand pounds easy. Bigger then she had ever hunred before. There was something new to him, however, as he strode. A limp and quite a sufficient one. There was no blood, no open wounds. She could only assume he had slipped on ice or twisted it somehow else from the snow storms. It was the opportunity she had been waiting for. Allowing the distance to fall between them, she trailed around in an arch, keeping it's scent not far until she reached a good standing. Ravenna rose her head, calling out for Willow and Aurora wolves alike.

Leotie Rhys

The Agouti woman was just finishing up her border patrol and was ready to do some work on seeing about that Lynx. They needed see more information if they were ever going to get him out of their lands. He was evasive and he was dangerous they needed him gone so that she could feel that Romanov and Adeltra we're safe again.

Ravenna's call was both a welcome surprise but also one which caused her some slight worry. She there's what had happened between the two packs but she also remembered Sven agreeing to be nice to them and work toward an alliance as did she. Without further though she left the lands of Willow Ridge to meet up with Ravenna. The scent of moose was strong as she greeted her friend with a smile and a wag of her tail. “Big day then?” She commented as she searched for the creature that she could smell, “It's a good find,” she praised her Alpha. A moose would be prefect for the two packs to hunt.

Kyna and Greer learn of Revon being kidnapped in this thread

They just so happened to be heading that way when @Ravenna 's call reached Elias' ears. Rather than fill his heart with joy at the prospect of seeing a friend again it only made it heavy in his chest, like dead weight. This was... Elias didn't even know what to think of the situation that was unfurling before him. This wasn't even his drama and yet by joining Aurora Heights he'd been thrust into the middle, as if he didn't have enough worries of his own.

If it hadn't been for Revon he wouldn't have known the Heights like he did. She'd helped him settle in, he owed it to her, to her parents. Whether he liked it or not, this was his duty. And Elias didn't skimp out on that, no matter how grim things got.

Elias trudged nervously after Abaddon and Pyriel as they swerved to head towards the Rise, instead of the Willows. He didn't hang out with them often but... pack business was just that. Pyriel seemed a little...serious and Abaddon was just outright scary. All dark and large with those yellow eyes that weren't familiar at all.

In all honesty, Elias was dreading this meeting. Ravenna wanted to hunt but... they hadn't been sent down here to play nice. If Kyna knew their intentions well...she wouldn't want them to help out at all. And understandably so! He felt as though he was stuck between a rock and a hard place, he wanted to trust his friend but if that stranger had been telling the truth then maybe the wolves of the Willows were not as nice as he'd thought. Wouldn't be the first time he'd misjudged someone, bad people came in all shapes and sizes, he knew that.

Drawing to a stop, the Heights trio stood side by side in front of the wolves of the Willows. This wasn't a happy meeting in the least, his shoulders sagged as he cleared his throat. He supposed he should get the ball rolling.

"I'm sor-" He snapped his mouth shut. If they were in the wrong, why should Elias be sorry? So he started again, his voice sterner-brittler- than before. "There won't be a joint hunt."

He glanced to his side, hoping someone with a stronger backbone would be willing to explain what he meant by that. If they were behind Revon's kidnapping they'd know already...And what nerve they would have to pretend all was well between the packs when it clearly wasn't. But if they didn't know then...things didn't make sense at all.

Adeltra Archer

Addy had been out and about in the Drooping Willows, sniffing around and, quite frankly, being bored. She wanted something to do other than just wander around the same places over and over again, she wanted something new. And, of course, with Ravenna’s call for them to come to arms she got just her wish. Gleefully she turned and took off at a run in the direction the call had come. A hunt sounded exciting, especially with all the wolves that her cousin had called for. She wondered what all the new wolves would be like?

When she arrived the first thing she noticed was the giant moose. Her jaw went slack and she stumbled for a second before righting herself. She’d never seen anything that big, something that...monstrous. The second thing she noticed was Leotie and...Elly! A grin settled on her lips and she headed toward the large male, brushing against his shoulder and giving him a bump. The dark girl settled on Ravenna’s other side, her tail wagging happily. Hey Elly! Isn’t this gr-- she began, but stopped mid-sentence as she processed his facial features. There was something off, something harder about her friend which alarmed her because the Elias she knew was basically a big bouncy teddy bear. And his voice...there was no warmth. It was stern, cold, accusing. Her lips dipped into a frown. What’s wrong? What happened? she asked, her brows drawing up in concern. Had something bad happened?

Abaddon
Please let @Pyriel get in next!

Abaddon didn't mind leading the way. She hadn't embarked down this side in a while but oh she was ready to show up. Pyriel tagged with and even the new boy - Elijah? Elliot? - came with. Anymore surely would have been a crowd.

Most of the trip she hung in the front, motioning here and there for where they should be headed. If anyone else wanted to lead the way she wouldn't stop them. Granted Abaddon did think she was perhaps the most ballsy one out of the three of them. That was if the new guy wasn't hiding anything. She hadn't had time to pick his brain yet. Maybe after this she would.

As they halted in a line, she looked at the child that came bounding forth. Venom yellow eyes narrowed as the girl seemed to regard Elly. He may have spoken first but he was not the only Height wolves present. "It takes gall to call us when the rumor is one of you..." She trailed off, breathing in their scents and soaking in their looks. "took the Height's child." If Pyriel wanted to say something now, the floor was all his.

Pyriel Albarn

They were headed back to the Willows where they'd once had a confrontation with the wolves there. Pyriel wasn't looking forward to speaking with those wolves and in fact had only come out of duty for the pack and his position in it. He stayed close at Abaddon’s flank or at her side as they traveled and with them that overly large puppy. The warrior wasn't even sure why he'd come, facing a whole other pack of wolves didn't seem his cup of tea. He'd allowed the female second to lead the way as he felt it was more her style anyway.

When they finally came face to face with three wolves of the Willow's pack he stood at Abba's side. Elias decided he was going to be the one to speak first giving the news that there wouldn't be a joint hunt. The pale Agouti man watched the pup come forward to greet his male comrade with a Stern look across his features.

His attention was drawn to Abba once more as she spoke explaining the situation in the heights. Revon was missing and Pyriel couldn't help but think that maybe it teach her a lesson. As a subordinate of her parents however he kept that opinion to himself and did as was needed of him. Whether he liked the pup or not it was his duty as not only a heights wolf bit as a fighter on the side of good to do what was needed to find her.

Once his female companion had finished speaking it seemed it was his turn. “It would be in your best interest to tell the truth,” he warned gruffly despite his reservations about confronting the willows wolves like this.

Sven Archer
the devil is & always will

Sven didn't much like the impromptu call for Aurora Heights. If they weren't waiting around forever for the pack to come, then that was a problem in itself. If the majority of the wolves were less than half a day's travel from the willows, that meant they were, once again, as a whole meandering about the forest instead of sticking to their own claimed land. Whatever, for now, he supposed. For Ravenna's sake. So he made his way, and indeed, three of the Heights wolves had beat him to the area. He'd arrived within earshot in time to hear their words however, and by the time he reached his cousin's side his blood was boiling.

Out of nowhere they were accusing them of pupnapping their own blood? How imbecilic could you get?

"Watch your mouth," he warned the two, before holding the unfamiliar one in his gaze.

"You're telling me that your alphas not only think we'd steal a child from our own family, but that they also couldn't be assed to come find out or even send word before this?"

If his child had been gone and he'd heard a rumor that Greer had taken it, he'd be up that mountain in a heartbeat, and would certainly be asking before assuming and telling his whole pack of the Height's supposed treachery. And if they had? He'd be fighting tooth and nail to get his child back, not just waiting it out. When and how did this all get started anyways? What more was going on up there that Ravenna's brother wasn't yet sharing with them? What were they biding their time for instead of fact checking and seeking help from their purported allies?

be a gentleman.

Greer Archer-Lyall
throws greer in the mess

The hunt was supposed to unify the packs. It had been planned after the unexpected clash between packs, when sour words had been exchanged between his subordinates and the wolves in his birth pack. So a joint hunt had been planned in an attempt to smooth things over, but things had only gotten progressively worse in the weeks that had passed. He had waited for the call but received a different one instead. One relaying some rather unsettling news. His daughter had been taken by a wolf that bore a striking resemblance to his nephew. Supposedly. There were plenty of wolves in the lands of Lore that were adorned with an alabaster pelt that didn’t belong to Sven Archer.

What use would his nephew have with his daughter? It didn’t make sense. As distraught as the father was he refused to believe that Sven, or the wolves of Willow Ridge, had anything to do with his daughter’s absence. Even if that damn loner was so certain.

He had answered the call, but not with his voice. He knew his subordinates would have already trailed down the mountain, no doubt announcing that they were to have no part in the hunt. Until his daughter was found and returned safely to the Heights there would be no hunt.

The shadow had not been on the mountain when the call was sounded. He was trailing along through the willows, north of the pack’s territory, in hopes of catching wind of his daughter’s trail. But everything was stale. Whoever had taken her had done well in covering their tracks.

He arrived on the scene just as his nephew had spoken. A low growl rumbled through his chest, his brows knitted together as he approached the group with his chin raised. Greer look, he hissed in response, his ears cup forward. Rumours Sven took Revon, he added, his silver gaze focused on the pale Archer, Loner told. Greer not believe. But subordinates speak truth. No hunt. Not today. Did the wolves of his birth pack have any information on his daughter? His gaze swept through the gathered Ridge wolves, a frown creasing his dark features.

Lorcán Artemieva
Lorcan had not long finished checking through the pack caches when he heard Ravenna’s howl singing through the icy winter breeze. The message of her song was clear, she was summoning them for a hunt – though not just her subordinates, the wolves of Aurora Heights were welcome as well. The prospect of a joint pack hunt caught the agouti male a little off guard, though he quickly remembered that Ravenna was sister to Greer, and so it would kind of make sense that the two packs would be willing to work together to share a decent meal.

Hurriedly pushing the dirt and rubble back over the open cache that he had been nosing in, the agouti male turned and darted off towards the southern borders of the territory. Pale paws crunched through the heavy snow as he left the scent of the pack lands behind him and entered the uneven terrain of Fireweed Rise. He remembered this had been the place that @Romanov had shown him when he had first made it out the infirmary. Already he could pick up on the faint smell of moose nearby which caused his mouth to water as he surveyed the area. A soft smile graced his charcoal lips as he spotted a growing gathering of wolves up ahead, and as he moved in quietly to approach them, his russet ears perked forwards to listen in on what was being said.

Traipsing towards his pack mates, the agouti male eyed the other wolves with interest, his nostrils flaring as he inhaled their pungent scent, whilst his black-tipped tail waved neutrally behind him. The absence of Greer from the band of Aurora Heights wolves conjured a feeling of disappointment in the male as he moved quietly to step in alongside the smaller dark form of Adeltra. However his personal disappointment was pushed to one side as he observed the conversation, a frown quickly tugging at his scarred features as he began to realise that this was no happy gathering.

The dark fur along his spine began to bristle as he sensed the hostility in the air and when Sven snapped at the unfamiliar wolves, Lorcan’s muzzle wrinkled in agreement. The sudden arrival of @Greer caused his features to soften for a moment as he regarded his old friend and pack mate. Lorcan was undoubtedly sympathetic for the male, for he was a father himself, but that did not mean that he would let his guard down completely. Not whilst his subordinates were being so hostile. Golden eyes narrowed on the trio and then flashed over to Ravenna as he gave a questioning shrug of his shoulders, hoping that she would be able to calm the situation. It was not his place to try and take control of things, especially when they were accusing Sven of the crime.
