Cyril Kael-Santoro
posting order - @Odysseia > @Lenae > @Cheedo > @Lorcan > @Piety > @Cyril
sorry for bombarding you wolfsi XD

He was purposely late to the party and he didn’t care. The strange call had intrigued him but he hesitated, for he did not know the voice. But his curiosity won the battle, as it typically did. He did not race forward to answer—not like the others. Instead he hung back, his steps slow and cautious as he descended down from their mountain haven. He did not doubt that his mother, or Cheedo, would arrive first on the scene—considering the call was directed at them—but he would not be surprised if Lorcán had also made an appearance. It was becoming evident that the tawny male intended to lead alongside his mother, which made the sullen boy a little wary, but he had already seen a notable difference in the Santoro. She was recovering a lot faster than the espresso-coloured boy.

I thought I told you to stay away…

His ears twitched in interest as he caught Lorcán’s growl through the trees; his brows fell into a tight line. Another familiar scent reached him as his pace began to quicken—Lenae!

Now he regretted being the last one to show up to the party…

He caught Lorcán’s voice once more through the trees as he drew closer. The agouti was clearly displeased with whoever had called for them, which only made him even more curious. His mother, too, spoke with malice in her voice. As he made his appearance the boy sidled up next to Lenae, briefly bumping his shoulder against hers before he took his position next to his mother. Family? Who was this wolf and why was she speaking of family? Cyril knew nothing of her. His upper lip curled back, exposing a row of silky ivory canines.

Odysseia Immorta
Odysseia Immorta
Get out your guns, battle's begun.
Are you a saint or a sinner?

OOC here!

Ody sighed at Cheedo did appear to know Jerkface "No not to bad, we just have different opinions" she stated as she smiled at the smaller wolf.

With the arrival of others and the fact that neither of the two leaders seemed to be even the slightest accepting of her. Ody could tell this was going bad. Though the arrival of another tawny woman had Ody wonder just how many were they? However this one remained in the back and did not speak, she appeared almost like a brown shadow to Piety.

Orange eyes would soon draw to Lorcan as he spoke, "Authority?" she questioned him a surprised and confused look in her eyes. Who's? his? he wasn't her alpha and he sure as hell hadn't given her any good reason to stay away. "Your right I did not head your words, because they did not add up with the what I already know" She spoke, her posture still submissive and still majorly turned to Piety. "But answer me this, Lorcan." she was tired of him and his blinding stubbornness, He knew nothing fo her and judged her out from others who were not even her.  Hell Jerkface and her had never even had a real conversation before today and he had the nerve to tell her to stay away from her family? "I have no idea if she is or not, but let's say the tawny woman is your sister" her head would tip forth towards piety's tawny shadow. "Let's say you been apart for a while and you finally managed to find each other again, you talk and she seems happy to see you she even likes your idea of staying together." she paused for a second to give jerkface a chance to keep up. "Then when you go to find a gift to hand to her alpha, you meet this random wolf you don't know but who claims to be her alpha." Eyes would for a moment drift to Cheedo before returning to focus on Lorcan. "And they tell you that the wolf, you talked with just a day or so ago, has moved on and don't need you anymore and that you should stay away. Would you honestly head their warning? Would you believe them when you know they are speaking their mind and not hers when you have no guarantee their not lying?" she spoke eyes narrowing, for a moment as she waited for an answer.

Orange eyes would turn to Piety who spoke next, "Yes, only family I have left"  she spoke, and soft sigh as Piety's next words were at the same level as Jerckfaceses judge mainly for the actions of others. "Craw was a man I barely, knew he was the dream of a young and naive girl's belief in her father was an immortal wolf who would someday come back to her." she spoke eyes not leaving Piety, she was tired of his shadow, tired of binge stuck in it, she was moving on and she did not need other to judge her on it. "I went after him yes, I won't deny it. I wanted his answer, I wanted to know why he chose that dark woman over us. And I couldn't even freaking find them"  she looked away eyes on the river as her lips pulled up justs lightly in her won frustration before smoothing over once again as she returned her eyes to Piety. "But Cheedo is my family, she helped raise me along with my mother and Angharad, she was there when my grandfather decided that Craw was a threat to him and murdered my mother and half-brother" her words drew cold as she spoke of her past eyes narrowing as she fought the tears and rising anger. "She was there when we ran, there when we grieved over the once who were lost" she spoke her voice harsh and irritated as she kept her gaze fastened on Piety, she wasn't going to join she knew that her words likely wouldn't change their mind. But she wasn't going to just keep binge a shadow of her father. "So Cheedo is my family, and always have been"

March note! It should be noted that Ody's spring scent/heat scent is quite a bit weaker then that of the average female due to her weak fertility.

Lenae Selwyn
Just a shortie from me as I'm supposed to be doing uni work, whoops

Lenae didn't quite understand what was going on, but she could certainly sense that things were getting tense. For one reason or another, Piety and Lorcan didn't trust the stranger, didn't want her about, and in all honesty, Lenae was inclined to trust their judgement. Soon enough Cyril showed up on the scene, tall and dark as his Father had once been. It was always good to see him, she felt guilty for hiding away so much but thankfully he seemed to understand, or at the very least didn't take great offence to it.

With a weak little smile, her tail swished once then twice, before it settled between her legs once more.

Apparently this stranger had history with the others, she dropped names- all of which Lenae did not recognise- and Lenae's confusion grew. She had an awful lot to say and certainly seemed as though she meant it, but would it be enough to change Piety and Lorcan's mind?

Cheedo

Cheedo had felt she’d spoken her piece to Piety before Ody had arrived. It was clear Lorcan didn't care about her feelings on the matter but instead to come in throwing his weight around. Which as far as she knew he was not officially an alpha yet. The least he could have done was come to speak to her about Ody before coming in and judging the girl. She decided then and there that he could never be the man that Wraith had been.

She remained silent letting everyone speak as there was nothing left to be said. She'd seen the way this was going to go as soon as Piety spoke the first time. She loved Ody she did, like her own daughter but she'd also pledged her loyalty to the former leader and her son. The small Agouti woman didn't know what to do to fix this or change it. When Ody spoke she knew then that there wasn't anything left to do once she'd talked to Piety and Lorcan in the way that she had. As she looked across each member that had gathered her eyes fell on Cyril as he arrived and now she felt like a fool in front of the whole group.

Finally once Ody had finished speaking she turned to the girl and gave her a small lick under her chin. “I'm sorry, I had hoped things would go better. I'm so glad to see you and see that you're alright. I hope that you can find a place to call home and that it might be close enough we can visit again one day but it might be best that you leave now,” she said as a tear fell down her cheek, “I'm so sorry Ody please forgive me?” she repeated as she stepped away from the girl falling into place behind Piety and letting her gaze fall to the ground in front of her.

She hated doing it and hoped that Ody wouldn't hate her for sending her away and for putting her in this mess. She felt that it was probably the best thing before the situation became worse. She wanted to run back to the tarn and find a quiet place where she could be alone. All she could do was wait quietly to see what would happen next.

Lorcán Artemieva

Lorcan rose single brow in invitation, silently daring Odysseia to continue questioning him, whilst his dark lips pulled into a disgruntled line across his scarred face. Behind him his tail flicked sharply in irritation and his russet ears pushed back to rest flat against his head as he was forced to listen to her long-winded story about how unfair and mean he was being. If she was hoping to change his mind and gain some sympathy from him, she was failing miserably. Lorcan's head cocked to one side, jaws gritting together in aggravation, though he said nothing.

The male flicked an ear towards Piety as she spoke next, though his sharp golden gaze remained focused upon Odysseia. It seemed that, whilst for slightly different reasons, he and Piety were both in agreement which was a relief. Once again Odysseia's voice piped up in response, once again seeking sympathy. Lorcan felt the bridge of his muzzle wrinkle as she mentioned @Morganna, and his sharp glare lifted from Odysseia to briefly glance across to Piety, his pale brows pulled into a frown.

As his gaze returned to the silver female he was surprised to witness Cheedo fussing over her, placing a lick to her chin and crying as she apologised for the interaction was going. Lorcan may have felt bad for making Cheedo so upset had he not been so annoyed at Odysseia in that moment, as he watched her soak up the attention. The male had seen enough. Stepping forwards, ears perked and tail rising to wave dominantly behind him, he allowed Cheedo to retreat to spot behind @Piety before he finally spoke up.

"You might get sympathy from her," He began, turning his head to briefly point his muzzle in general Cheedo's direction. "but you will get no such thing from me." He stated harshly, his tone sharp and devoid of any warmth. "There was a reason I suggested you leave Cheedo be. That dark woman, whom you so clearly despise, just so happens to be one of our closest allies and friends." He explained, giving a soft bump to Piety's shoulder. "I would have been acting against the future well-being of this pack had I invited you to join us — and, considering how all you wanted was for Cheedo to be safe and happy, I figured you would be wise enough to respect my request but apparently not."

He eyed Odysseia then, his golden gaze glaring her up and down in disgust. She might have been Craw's daughter, but she would receive none of the respect Lorcan once held for her father. The agouti male's tail lashed out through the air behind him as he glanced back towards Cheedo for a second before his attention returned to the silver female. "Now, having gone against my wishes and successfully upset Cheedo, I strongly suggest you take her advice and leave." He stepped forwards then, paws heavy as they hit the snow covered ground. The dark fur along Lorcan's back bristled, making him appear larger and more intimidating as he snapped his jaws at the air towards Odysseia. The warning was clear: Leave now or be chased out.

Piety Santoro
Something broke in her when the woman dared to challenge Lorcan and discussed Morganna in such a manner. She laughed, harshly with hackles raised taking a few solid steps forward. "If you stumbled upon this woman you speak of with such illness, you wouldn't be standing here before me pleading such a case." Her head gave a few firm shakes, disgusted and disappointed. "Me, though? I won't strike you down physically but I will not accept your behavior here. If you show such disrespect now towards my future co-lead then I'm sure you'll never respect him. And how will I know that you won't treat me the same?" It was a genuine concern and not something she was willing to risk. The unruly would not be welcomed.

She turned around, knowing Lorcan was protecting her back. "I do suggest you follow the man's words. Otherwise, I'm sure he has no problem showing you out." She said with a slight scoff.

The mother took a few steps past the others that had gathered before her head turned over her shoulder, brown gaze on Cheedo. "Cheedo," She hummed softly. "I won't be mad if you do but if you and Odysseia are truly so close perhaps you should go with her." She moved closer to the small female, leaning near her ear to whisper in soft tones only for her. "If you stay, we will have a talk later." She rumbled but there was no malice in her voice.

With that she took her leave, stance still strong and grace unwavering.

@Odysseia

This wasn’t a conversation that needed, or required him, but the boy remained rooted to the spot at his mother’s side. He did not know anything of the wolf standing before them, or the history she had with his mother (and Lorcán). All he picked up from the words being exchanged between the four wolves was that she was familiar with Cheedo and Craw, a name he had heard a few times when they had lived atop the monadnock. Someone who had deserted the Whitestone wolves, even though he was the reason that Cheedo had arrived in the lowlands. But, from what he understood, the silver wolf had left Whitestone and Cheedo in search of the mystery man, Craw, and the dark woman (who he assumed was Morganna). Who wasn’t to say she wouldn’t leave again when it was convenient for her? She was a lot of words and not a lot of action—and words could only get someone so far.

His eyes swept over to his companions, his brows pinched tight together before his sunny gaze landed on Lenae. She remained silent, like him; clearly observing the situation unfolding before them and assessing it. Cheedo, however, babbled something to the white wolf before resuming her position behind Piety, her head dipped low. His lips hardened into a thin, tight line as he watched Lorcán and his mother with heightened curiosity. What was their response?

The tawny male was quick to respond, his tongue dripped in venom as he lashed out at the pale female. His assumptions about the dark woman were correct—the stranger had been talking about Morganna. Even Cyril, who had barely gotten to know the Archer queen, had grown fond of her and considered her an ally. If the silver female had beef with Morganna she wouldn’t fit in with them—not a chance in hell. Lorcán seemed to agree, as he was quick to dismiss her from the edge of the forest.

His mother chimed in as she stepped toward the silver she-wolf, her tongue just as sharp as Lorcán’s had been. They clearly wanted nothing to do with this Odysseia, so neither did Cyril. As Piety turned her back to the silver female Cyril stepped forward, his upper lip curled back as he growled a low warning for the loner. It was time she left—Cyril would have no problems with escorting her away, with or without Lorcán's aid.

Are you a saint or a sinner?

OOC here!

The battle was lost, hell with this Jerkface at the helm she wasn't really sure if she was disappointed or not. Sure to loss Cheedo was a blow, but to not be beneath this asshole was a blessing. "Me to" she mumbled as Cheedo spoke retuning Cheedo's lick with a nuzzle. "If you need me I won't stray far" she promised, no way in hell was she leaving Cheddo alone with this fool as her alpha. It be over her dead cold body.

However, as the soon to be alphas spoke, her stance changed tail lifted to stand straight behind her and lips drew into a neutral frown. "No need to snap I'm leaving I have no interest to live under you or your pity, I thought that perhaps you were trying to defend Cheedo, now you just appear to be a judgmental fool" she spoke eyes narrowing at Lorcan. Then she turn a last glance at the white woman "I don't doubt your skill's as a leader Piety, but I'm doubting his" that was her only words to the soon to be female alpha a soft glance at the pub who stepped up as if to try and mimic the adults. A soft huff kinda laugh left her lips as she left them, wasn't his fault that his mother put him around bad company.

Lenae Selwyn
Just doing another post so @Cyril can get his LP

Lenae watched the stranger leave as a frown tugged at her brows. She still wasn't entirely sure what all of this was about but...if her leaders didn't want her around then it was needless to say she wasn't welcome. She felt bad, after all the stranger seemed nice enough, maybe a little bold, but was that a bad thing? Lenae had always admired wolves who could speak their mind, something she never had the courage to do. But with boldness came a sense of rebelliousness, would she heed to Lorcan's commands when she clearly wasn't fond of him? Perhaps this was for the best.

Stepping out of Piety's shadow, she gave Cyril's shoulder a gentle nudge. He wasn't upset, was he? Did he know this woman, did he want her around?

"Cyril...can we go?" She asked, wanting to draw him away from this situation. Maybe she could think of something to teach him, like old times.

archived! @Odysseia @Lorcan @Piety @Lenae @Cheedo

He didn't care where the silver female went—as long as it was far away from the mountain and the gnarled forest surrounding them. If he caught wind of her scent lurking among the trees he would ensure she did not make the same mistake again. Clearly she did not leave Whitestone on good terms, as both Lorcán and Piety wanted nothing to do with her. She did not leave without a few more unpleasant words thrown in the direction of the tawny male. Something about doubting his abilities as a leader. The sullen boy didn’t know enough about her mother’s friend to make a decision on his leading abilities, but he seemed pleasant. Competent.

His yellow gaze only wavered from the stranger’s disappearing shape when Lenae nudged his shoulder. He blinked, his nose swinging around to meet her sunflower-coloured pools. … can we go? The boy nodded. The meeting with the silver loner had been adjourned; they could resume their regular duties and forget about what had happened. He touched her cheek before turning, giving a quick flick of his nose for her to take the lead.

Fade.
