Midnight Plateau Questions and Doubts

There had been a shift in the small Agouti woman after what had happened when Ody had come for a visit. Her feelings regarding a lot of things were now in question and she didn't like it one bit. She needed some time away from the Tarn to think and she knew it was important that she figure things out. Cheedo had left early in the morning and traveled further into the mountain figuring she'd be safe there. She wasn't used to climbing mountains so each step was taken very carefully.

As she moved further up the paths that were carved into the stone she felt a little better but she still had many things on her mind. She wasn't foolish enough to think that everything would he resolved by a walk in the mountains but maybe it could be a start. She'd come to a place that seemed rather secluded and felt it might be a good place to rest for a short time, maybe even overnight. She didn't think she'd be missed for one night. With her nose to the ground she looked around for maybe something to eat or even some water, anything that might make it worthwhile to spend some time there.

Carried away by a moonlight shadow

All she saw was a silhouette of a gun

The spider was on the move, or as much on the move as a pack wolf could allow herself. It was odd binge limited in where she could go, binge kept from just wandering were her paws took her. To constantly need to ensure she be able to get back. But it was an okay sacrifice for the luxury that came with pack life, even if she sometimes felt soft due to it. Always having enough food, always protected by walls of scent. A life with bliss, she could see why Cheedo had thrived in it.  

Cheedo....... Fragile.... rabbit......

The spider had come to a halt, as the other wolf had popped into her mind. She hadn't seen the small er woman in a while, and she felt bad for leaving her with Jerface and Piety as some were in her mind she feard she created trouble for her. Ody sighed eyes scanning her surroundings. She moved passed a few tall rock walls and now found herself on a secluded plateau. This would be a great place to take the pups for a field trip. To teach them to work together as a unit in building a den maybe even catching dinner. Her mind buzzed with the idea as she moved at least until a light tawny form caught her eyes.

Moving forth in quick long strides Ody allowed a happy bark to leave her lips as she shortened the distance between them. "Cheedo!" she finally called out as she would amine to literally attack the woman with nuzzles, small friendly nipples and kisses to her side, neck, and face. The sight and scent of her family were baffling and for the first time in a  while, Ody felt how much she missed the Fragile.

   

March note! It should be noted that Ody's spring scent/heat scent is quite a bit weaker then that of the average female due to her weak fertility.

She'd been searching along the plateau for a little while trying to not let her thoughts drift to the things that were bothering her. She'd come up the mountain in hopes that she could just forget about it all for just a little while. Though her heat raged inside her and helped some that in itself was it's own infuriating thing. She'd had to endure it the previous year and she'd made it through the season. She was sure she could do it again, she had to.

Maybe she should have known better than to think she would find some kind of pretty in the mountains. She'd quickly learned in the time that she'd been there how harsh the environment was and not very idea for animals like rabbits or squirrels. She'd given up her hunt but wasn't ready to return to the tarn and face everything that was there. She knew she would have to come to terms with it sooner or later but for now she chose not to.

It was the sound of her name that had her good ear searching for the direction it had come from. She didn't have to search long as Ody appeared and showered her in nuzzles, nips, and kisses. “Hello Ody, I’m so happy to see you,” she told the girl a she returned the affection with nuzzles and kisses of her own. She did her best to ignore what the touches did to cause her heat to flare up. “Something's different about you,” she stated as she took on the scent of pack on the girls fur. “What have you been up to?”

The Spider hadn't totally thought this through, as the thought made her body burn with the touch. But when it came to a choice between being comfortable and seeing her family again. Family won big time. She hummed happily as her tail wagged behind her as she planted her rump on the ground moving back just a bit so that they had some space between them. "you to" she replied a wide smile on her lips and a caring look to her facial features. She really missed Cheedo, even with the constant scent of others in the Surge it just wasn't the same.

Cheedo seemed to catch her scent and for a moment Ody felt bad. She told Cheedo should wouldn't go far but in the end, she went further than she meant to. But Sana, was part of her daily life, which was a small blessing in this madness of idiotic men and women whom only saw her father.

"I been out and about" she replied looking back towards were the Surge was. It wasn't a bad place, there was just so many wolves under one roof it was strange. "I found the pack of a friend and joined them" she returned her gaze to Cheedo a soft smile on her lips. "I was tired of traveling, tired of being alone." she admitted, or perhaps it was the fact she been ready to bind herself to a pack when she met Cheedo again. She readied herself for it and then it all fallen apart. Leaving her feeling empty and alone.

The small Agouti woman hadn't expected to run into Ody so soon after she'd been sent away by Piety and Lorcan. Cheedo had thought a lot about what Piety had said but she was still trying to come to terms with the fact that the girl wouldn't he with her. She'd gotten her hopes up to have a family member back with her she hadn't even foreseen what could happen. Then it didn't and she was was left in a state of confusion even after speaking with Piety.

Ody was there on the plateau with her and she couldn't help but he happy about it. She smiled when Ody said she was happy to see her too. She had missed the girl very much even though it had only been a couple weeks since she'd seen her last. The Agouti woman also hadn't missed the new scent on the gray girls coat either. She was happy that Craw's daughter had found a place she could call home even if it wasn't with her.

Cheedo listened as she spoke about being out and about but then said she'd joined the pack if a friend because she was tired of being alone. The Agouti nodded, “I understand not wanting to he alone any longer. It's part of the reason I joined Whitestone,” she admitted, “And Mittani was there.” There were still times she missed him but she didn't think she’d ever see him again. “I'm glad you found a place though. Do you like it there? Tell me about your friend?” Cheedo wanted to know it all where Ody was concerned, she wanted to make sure the girl was doing well for herself.
