Avella Archer
Having lived in the willows her entire short life Avella supposed she couldn't see what might appeal to others. It was her home sure but she didn't find anything spectacularly great about it. Perhaps that was due to the fact she hadn't ever been anywhere else at that point. She hadn't seen what was beyond the willows.

She thought about how Jenny described the Willows and found she felt the same about it. She never really noticed that about it. “What's your home like?” She asked since she described it as so different. As it turned out Jenny did have a family which of course made Avella wonder if it was like her family. “We're supposed to behave,” Avella had a little trouble with that rule, “We have to stay close too cause the had things that could happen.” She wasn't exactly sure about the bad things except she'd heard about the oties.

She was doing her best though to follow the rules but she was getting antsy too. The bigger she got the more she wanted to go out and explore but with her dad hurt she didn't know when an adult would be able to take her exploring.

She turned her head at Jenny's next question, “I do all the time.” This set Avella's mind working and inly furthered her thoughts about exploring when the other girl talked about nothing bad happening to her during her explorations. “Do you think the adults tell us about bad things to keep us from doing things they think we shouldn't?” It made sense, scare them into believing that there was something dangerous waiting for them just across the border.

Jenessa Kay Selwyn

This was a question she'd been asked before so it wasn't hard to respond to. Whilst the Tarn would no doubt seem interesting to the Willow pup the same couldn't really be said for Jenny. It was just so familiar, she supposed Avella probably felt the same way about the Ridge. That was why the idea of living on the move seemed appealing to the Selwyn pup, that way nothing would ever be the norm for her. She'd always have new frontiers to explore, untrodden dirt beneath her paws.

"Clearwater Tarn is....it's high up. A big lake, surrounded by trees all around." The picture was clear in her mind, like she had never left. "So what? Adults say a lot of things, don't mean we have to listen. You really wanna be bossed around for ever?" She arched her brow at that.

As much as the Ridge girl said otherwise she did seem to be the sort who was a goody two paws. Jenny would see about changing that, just cause she could.

"Next time you go, go further than you've ever been before. Till you're so far you don't even know where you are. That's real adventuring." And then. "We close yet? To the cool place?"

Avella Archer
She found it hard to imagine what other places could be like and now that she was getting bigger she was becoming more curious. She hadn't been very far outside the willows so sometimes it was hard to even imagine there were places beyond what she could see from the border. She hadn't ever asked but she wondered if her brother felt the same way or was she the only one. Maybe she was just weird and didn't know it, that was definitely something to think about.

Lucky for her Jenny was willing to give some details about what her home was like, “It sounds pretty but what's a lake?” She really hadn't any clue since they didn't have anything in the willows called a lake, at least not that she'd come across. Avella thought for the shortest of moments at the point the other girl brought up, “No, I guess not.” She didn't like being bossed around very much now as it was.

This girl was a rather strange one in the Archer pups opinion but Avella couldn't help thinking she had some interesting suggestions. Jenny came out with one only moments later.

“Is that what you did when you ventured away from home?” She asked making the assumption that the girl had done that since she was suggesting it. “Yes, we are almost there,” she replied. The place Avella had in mind was very close by but she wasn't quite ready to be done with hearing what this girl had to say about exploring.
